Not sure if this is extremely accurate, but i find it interesting that the Women's program is in the black and not the red ink.

Reports like this are worthless without knowning the underlying assumptions.
It wouldn't surprise me if much of the "revenue" of the women's team is an arbitrary allocation of both the television contract and the interest generated by the maintence fund that was part of the fundraising for the Al.
If so, then for all practical purposes, 100% of such television revenue is due to mens basketball--we'd have no contract and no Al without them.
It makes enough to cover all other sports and employee a lot of folks. In addition, the added revenue generated by admissions. Best part of record applications is the ability to raise the standards to get in.
