causal relationship? the longer Crittle retains mutual interest with MU, the more u have to wonder about Mbakwe's status?
i dunno
Manhattan, KS and Milwaukee, WI....could there be more two different places. When I attended KU in tiny Lawrence, even we made fun of Manhattan, KS for being in the sticks.
Chicos, I always assumed you went to Marquette... Am I wrong?
My prediction: Crittle screws around with the recruitng process for far too long. In the mean time Mu signs 2 bigs that are actually more highly rated and Crittle misses out on the opportunity to play for MU. Crittle has a nice career at KSU but plays for a program that has completely fallen off the map during his junior and senior years. Meanwhile MU remains a top 10 program competing for BE titles and enjoys an annual trip to the Big Dance. Either way MU will be fine and rolling, some guys just dont realize the opportunity they have been presented.

If Mbawke is declared ineligible (I don't know if that is likely or not), could he go to JUCO for a year and then come back to MU?
I mean, I don't know if he would want to do that, but is it within the NCAA rules?
Crittle sounds like a nice player, but if MU likes what they see in Mbawke, it would probably be worth bringing him back rather then recruiting another guy.
On the issue of Manhattan, KS -- you have to like the idea of being away from a big city and living on the Great Plains. Not much to stop the wind out that way. The Big 12 is a good conference but it has been difficult for K State to stay in the top division.

I believe he would have to go to junior college for two years. You can only transfer after one year, if you were qualifed coming out of high school. He could go to a prep school and come back in a year. I think it would be kind of hard to go to a prep school now. He could not sit out for a year like Wade did, because Big East has a rule against partial qualifiers. I think that Crean would have sent him to a prep school to start, if he felt there was a good chance that he would be approved.
TM is attending classes. I'm sure this is another LH deal. Not worried about TM at all.
Yes the Big east has a rule against partial qualifiers, but unless i am wrong the one other option he could have is to get a student loan and complete the year as anon qualifier student only. and then be eligible next year.
He's been on campus, in classes and at other athletic games with other bball players which are all good signs.

Sounds good.
Well, then I guess the crittle coming in to replace TM thing isn't really a concern.
