Just got an email regarding the first two (sorry play-in games... you don't count) rounds for the 2014 tournament at the Bradley Center.
Question – do they sell suds during these events? It would be tragic to go to the BC and not have an ale (or 5).
Nope - no alcohol at NCAA events.......sorry.
Did anyone notice how empty the I4 section was during the Warrior game on Thu?
Out sudsing?
Bring a flask! Worked well in Indy for the final four a couple years ago.
Also those small bottles of liquor they sell at stores are great to pop a whiskey or rum into your coke.

This lady sitting next to me at the Syracuse game in DC was bold and brought a full liter of Jack into the arena. I'm not sure how she managed it but I was impressed no the less.

Probably the same way I brought two bottles of water in. I have a big inside pocket on my jacket and they didn't frisk everybody entering the building.
I saved my drinking for after the games to celebrate (Thursday) and commiserate (Saturday).

Impressive but not as much as the guys sitting in front of me at the Superdome in '03. Full handle bottle of Captains. When I asked how they managed that they all snickered and the one guy says, "Magic."

A female Syracuse fan is never short of orifices to stick things.
Bradley center security dont even frisk you. All they ask you to do is open your jacket.

They can now. Temple played the same day they hosted this year.

they checked fairly close and even used metal detectors at the BC the last time the NCAA was there (not saying that's how I lost my flask of scotch)
