Awesome article.  Buzz certainly has rubbed off on VB when VB calls Buzz "a great human being."

Kind of reminds me of the Jim Chones story. Could not fault the kid if he wanted a shot at the pros this next off-season.

Not to downplay the challenges Vander has faced in his life, but I did find the talk of the mean streets of Madison pretty humorous.

The part of Madison where he is from is very poor.  I grew up maybe a mile and a half from there, and while there are obviously places worse in Milwaukee and Chicago, it has its share of big city problems.
