how invaluable he has been to our success, especially late in this season. For all of the great teams we've had in the last ~7 years, I never would have thought this one would be the one to take us the furthest (and it's not over). Trent has been a part of that. Way to go men.
He has been excellent in the tournament. Playing smart and in control when it counts most. The experience he brought to this team was crucial.
Absolutely relentless on the boards. He played great.
This thread is so correct. We all overestimated Trent's scoring and underestimated what vander will score. Trent has his boneheaded plays, struggled with BE game. But holy unnatural carnal knowledge does he do a little of everything. He's one I havnt really gotten on this year. Gamer.
I've been critical of Lockett all year. I have to admit the last month or so he has played much much better and I couldn't be happier.
I remarked the exact same thing the past two games; I thought this is who he was going to be. I have been so happy with Trent's play in the tourney. Good for him. Love to see a good kid succeed as a senior. He has a chance to be a part of MU lore if we can get to the last weekend!
Lockett is awesome. He never turned into that star I thought he would be but he has been terrific in the tourney.
Glad he made the move to Marquette. Sorry it was for family health reasons. He's a solid kid, and a solid player.
He's done a LOT of little things all year as a player. He's been doing some big things as a player lately. As a person, my take is that he's done a lot of big things as a person. And I think that's why Buzz has hyped him all year.
He has been invaluable. He's a real winner
He has really been an Al "glue guy."
best rebounding guard since????

Hes in the conversation.
What an impact he's made. Wouldn't be here without Trent. He's the kind of guy and hard-working player I always want on Marquette.
What a special player in his own way. Trent deserves all the accolades... Hope there is more to come.
Sidenote... I really hope this ride continues, because there is such a great story behind a lot of the players. National media will eat a lot of this up.

He's the kind of guy Buzz is always going to attract. Couldn't be happier
Said in Jan that Lockett would wi us games with his head. Not what I expected, but so much more in many ways. Very happy he came here and very happy for him. His Sr. night speech gave me goosebumps and pulling hard for him.

+1 You and I agreed on that point. Happy to see it coming to fruition. He's playing smart ball and his effort to get to loose balls was amazing last night. He probably created/saved 4-5 posessions for us with pure effort.

Glad his mom is doing better.
