Says they lost because of injuries and colud not practice for two days, could not shoot, could not practice (again). No mention of Marquette playing well or Buzz being a good coach.
He did say a lot of words that sounded like excuses, but though he actually presented himself fine. Tough loss for any coach, and especially for a team that hadn't lost this bad since early in the year.
Sounds like a mid-major coach just happy to be there.
Dude seems kind of lame,

He said this in his opening remarks.
Of Course! It couldn't have been Buzz' superior game plan or MU's execution that beat them. They were supposed to win. WAH WAH WAH!
We win,they lose.
These are the last words of his that anyone is going to hear. So enjoy them, coach.

What a sour grapes whiner. loser.
He was doing fine until the end...then he vomitted out excuse after excuse with no credit to Buzz and the coaching clinic he put on or to Marquette and the discipline and fire they played with.

Good. It's all good when we get disrespected.
Lighten up on the old man - he had to be shellshocked after this one.
Woe is me.
Like I said earlier today, MUs sweet 16 experience was a huge advantage that no one was paying attention to; especially with regard to coaching.
Shocked he didn't say the dog ate their homework.
Miami got eviscerated, decimated, and are now constipated.
Eat it, unnatural carnal knowledge faces.

Yep. I was clearly wrong about that.
Why was he saying they couldn't practice? Not enough players? Whose fault is that?! Major props to Buzz, staff and MU players. Somewhere Cottingham must be lamenting the fact he isn't around to get the major kudos he deserves for hiring Buzz!

"we only had 11 scholarship players to practice with"
Just stupid. Miami got beat by a team that played a lot better than they did tonight.
Good. Keep downplaying this team and they'll keep overachieving.
He had all seniors and Larkin. Enjoy the ACC cellar next year
Screw Miami. Enjoy returning to basketball irrelevancy.
Stuck in traffic coming there, Larkin was throwing up last night...gotcha coach, we should have postponed until you were ready to give it your best. His presser compared to Brad Stevens on Saturday was night and day.
I felt fine about this game, after seeing how much they celebrated after winning last week.
Much like MU 2 years ago after beating Cuse. We won and seemed satisfied. What happened to us? We got destroyed by UNC. Didn't look like we wanted to play.
Miami seemed satisfied after they won their last game. What happened to them? They got blown out by us. Didn't look like they wanted to play.
Wasn't impressed with his comments. Lots of excuses.
It'll get real next year as he loses lots of seniors.

Really the only reason I noticed it was because Larannaga kept talking to reporters about all the fun he had with his George Mason team.
Not a good post game interview by the coach. He knew he blew it and what he said sounded like excuses.
Miami should be proud. Got to the Sweet 16 after being bounced at home in front of about 1,200 in the NIT by Minnesota last March. That's a nice improvement. Next year might be a little rough though.
who cares, shock everyone and keep winning AND they'll get all the respect they can handle

Well, there is you first problem, second is that MU was better tonight and your team had no answer. Well now you have all summer to think about a plan that might have worked.
(note, I did not listen to the full quote and reserve the right to change opinions if it was taken out of context)

And going forward. They are going to get hit hard by sanctions.

First thing I said out loud when watching that last week, "We better dominate these fools next week."
Sir Charles was the only one I heard today who gave props to Buzz for out coaching Larragna tonight. Of all people... I'm dying a little inside thinking about agreeing with something that guy said.
PS: I rooted for Miami all season up until tonight. For some reason I was intrigued by them all year. But sure enjoyed tonight's outcome!

are you saying you're going to kill Coach Larragna?
