Vander has been terrific without a doubt in this tourney, but tonight he will be guarded by a guy that is taller, more muscular, and just as athletic...basically think Wesley Matthews. So lets see what happens before we start talking about him leaving early for the NBA. Butler's and Davidson's guards cant guard like Larkin and Scott. They have no where near the athleticism
I completely agree. Other players needs to step up. Jaun Anderson have to give us some points.
With Johnson out, IMO this is the game where Davante re-emerges.

I sure hope so. We're gonna' need a big effort in the paint tonight!
I'll take 10-12 from Vander with increased production from JWilson & Gardner/Otule/STaylor. We won BEast games when Vander struggled statistically as teams started keying on him, we can do the same tonight.

I hope you are not figuring on that. Juan will get about a minute or two to start the game, used to be 4 or 5 minutes. He is the least aggressive offensive player I have seen lately. Does
not even want to shoot the ball. He gets open looks all the time. Between him and Derrick, it is questionable who really is worse.

Not sure that's a criterion worth considering.

Right. Because Vander has never faced those types of players in his three years in the Big East.

Derrick Wilson had a fantastic game against Butler. Not exactly why you think he should be in contention for the "worse" player.
I think it's great that our fanbase has come to rely on Blue. Three+ weeks ago all that we hoped was that *somebody* would step up on a given night (and they always did)!

Buzz said D wilson was one of the important keys to the Butler win because of his defense on Clark. i am guessing he will have the same role tonight against larkin
That's why I would not be surprised of Vander is held in check. But we have been able to win even when he is quiet. To me, Gardner and Otule are very important and hopefully Jamil can be clutch again.
Watch for VB to make very big impact on D side of the ball. While I think he will be leading scorer tonight, I think his D will be the difference.

Honestly that is what is great about this year's team. He scored 6 and 6 the last two home games of the season v. Syracuse and UND and we one both. If Vander can't get it going, we have other options.

I was gonna say... If these are our "worst" players... I'm feeling pretty good overall! ;D

True!
(Your GIF fascinates me. I love the ladies reaction, at first I thought it was her spouse with the beer, but now I am not sure.)

It took me watchimg her a couple times to realize how set up that was. A bit of over acting on her part.

I like Mayo to give 10-12 points in a Cuse like performance
You could make yourself some $ if you were to stand behind that prediction. 10-12 Pts. From TM would be fabulous!!! He could even crack a smile if that happened.
Scott may be stronger but he cannot match Blue's quickness. As Brad Stevens said "It's a game changer"
Jamil is going off tonight. I am feeling 22-24 from him.
