On ESPN now. JFB just forced a turnover on DWade. This is probably the only NBA game I'd like to watch in March. Bulls are gonna try to stop the Heat.
Butler started, and with 9 points with 5 to go in the half; bulls up 9 - they need to be p 30 to win this.
Van Gundy loves JFB.
Nate Robinson would be a nice fit on FGCU.
halftime talk with bill simmons and jalen rose was that jimmy has come on so strong that the bulls may trade deng while his value is still so high because jimmy can take his minutes...obviously freeing up $$$ to sign a player in a greater position of need.
Jimmy just mobbed DWade and stopped a fast break. Sent Dwade into the old cameraman in the back.
Butler really nice chasing wade down on a fast break with a "clean" foul to prevent the dunk. "Two Marquette guys going at it."
Unbelievable how fast Butler was in chasing Wade down.
How awesome would it be if it comes down to the final possession and JFB ends the Heat's streak?
Sweet DUNK JFB!
Climbed Bosh
Oh my JFB on that 'oop. Oh fuggin my
Jimmy just POSTERIZED Chris Bosh with a HUGE alley oop... unnatural carnal knowledge yea.
JFB!!!! ;D
JFB!!! "He LeBroned the Heat!"
Jimmy F'ing Butler with the DUNK over Bosh!!!

Sweet DUNK JFB!
That was fucking awesome. Hit his head on the bottom of the backboard too.
Stacy King: "This is a poster right here. Chris Bosh, welcome to Jimmy Butler's House"
Did it looks like JFB and some Heat player were having words before Boozer's free throw? Love JFB's energy and the shoutouts he gets MU (Wade too in that regard).
"Jimmy Butler's growing up right before our eyes Neil Funk. He's growing up!"
I love Stacy King.
I just voluntarily turned on an NBA game for the first time since probably high school to see JFB.
He just thanked you with a 3-ptr.
JFBs got 17 pts.
Jimmy 3!!!!!!!! Bulls up 86-78, 5:30 left.
And you were rewarded w a JFB 3!
Do non-MU Bulls fans know that we call him JFB?
I don't think so.

probably not, but there are a lot of people tonight saying "I don't know who this Jimmy F*ckin Butler is, but he's pretty f*cking good."
Jesus wept, this NBA style basketball is just crap.
Very entertaining game.
Huge take away by that little b@stard from KU
LeBron warning: they may not win, but he is about to take this game over
Some non-MU folks I work with have come up to me at work and said they love "JFB". When I tell them we call him "Jimmy F'n Butler" they all get a smile and seem to love him even more after that.
Bulls playing tough like MU against Miami. Tomorrow MU plays tough against Miami.

Didn't Heinrich have some streak going when he first got to the bulls in shutting Wade down (a continuation of his final 4 dominance over Wade)? I want to say it wasn't until Wade's fourth time to Chicago that he actually had a big game there. I still hate Heinrich for the Final 4 blowout.
That'll do it. Wow.
Did Robinson just score, despite a James goaltend?

(Because of a James goaltend?)
JIMMY! BULLS WIN!!
Does JFB get an assist for that pass to Wade? ;D
Get that interview after the game JFB!
Just the first Miami team to fall this week.
Wade = 18 pts, 7 reb, 3 asts, 40 minutes
JFB = 17 pts, 4 reb, 5 asts, 43 minutes
Who was the better player tonight?

Amen. It is Lent, after all.
JFB on ESPN2 with an interview.
JFB was turning point in third quarter/second half according to Flip Saunders.
JFB also interviewed at beginning of sportscenter, right after game. Very cool for him.
Ends the interview with "Marquette is happy tonight!"
Awesome!
Let's get happy and beat Miami again tomorrow!
JFB with the #1 play on Sportscenter this morning. A great way to start off the day!

Huh??? Because college games are a showcase of amazing shooting and smart play, right? ::)

Great to see two of our guys in starring roles in the most fascinating game of the NBA season so far. Loved the hard foul by Jimmy on Wade and the announcers mentioned the Marquette connection. Also loved the and 1 by Wade when he got bumped by Butler. Questionable call but Wade has made a career out of finishing those plays. Really happy for JFB.
Then turned it to the Wolves-Lakers to see Rubio get clobbered by Kobe on a 3 pt attempt at the buzzer that would have tied it. No call - yep, good to see the NBA hasn't changed at all.

I enjoy the NBA, but there is definitely a star system in place that is beyond frustrating.

Disagree. NBA basketball is a much better product when it comes to just watching basketball and entertainment.
They make almost ever open shot, and the rules are tailored (No hand checking) for scoring.
I love Marquette
But if Marquette is not playing I would much rather watch an NBA game

I don't get guys who love basketball but hate the NBA. To me that's like a carnivore who doesn't like a bone in rib eye or a guy who loves all women except the really pretty ones.

Personally, i love the intensity and team dynamics in college-ball much more than the finesse that comes from pro-ball.

I'm not arguing preference. Some guys prefer the girl next door to the supermodel. I just don't get guys who like to look at girls making an exception when it comes to the prettiest.

I agree. The NBA has a much longer season so it's understandable, but their isn't that do or die intensity in each game like you see in many college games. I'm also not a fan of the 24 second shot clock.
If more NBA games had the intensity of this one then perhaps I would watch more of them.
Most games, everyone simply goes through the motions.

MUBB needs that Intensity tonight.....AWESOME!! JFB Dunk Face, making Bosh cry :'(
That dunk was beyond awesome. Definition of posterized for Bosh.
JGB (The G stands for gets) is really making the one handed alley oop his thing.
That JFB dunk was just a preview of what MUBB does to Miami. One Miami team down one to go.
