Good to hear.
How much do they pay Hunt? Because this post finally earns his paycheck (just for today). Something original he got himself by being on the scene.
Most of the time his post are re-writes of links found on MCscoop ... probably done in his pajamas in his basement.

That's sort of the point of a blog, you know?
Hunt's readers, by and large, aren't the people who obsess about MU basketball the way we Scoopers do.

Yes, but a news organization pays to cart is arse around the country to watch MU games. It also pays him to stand in the corner and watch what the team is doing in Milwaukee. In other words, he should be expected to
originate news about MU basketball, not just re-post what other people are saying.
Am I wrong? Because that is what Lori and Todd did.
Cut the crap. To the Williams family, our heartfelt prayers go out to all of you. We (muscoop nation) are thrilled that Corey is making it through this adventure. God Bless and a speedy recovery.

Oh, man, were you around in the Lori Nickel days? Believe me, the praise she's getting now is serious revisionism. She produced way less than Hunt and was criticized as much, if not more.
I think you're missing the point of the blog. It's simply a repository for anything MU hoops related. Some of that's going to be original content. Some of that's going to be links to stuff published elsewhere. It isn't, nor is it meant to be, the sum total of Hunt's work.
And I doubt very much Hunt, or anyone, stands in a corner in Milwaukee to watch what the team is doing.
I wouldn't be surprised if Lori Nickel was removed from the beat because of all the criticism she received, although I thought she was OK. I had high hopes for Hunt, but I think he's past his prime. At one time he was a pretty good columnist.
Nothin' worse than an old Hunt, hey?
I get the point of a blog. But the best blogs are ones with original content. Hunt gets paid to create original content. Today's story was an exception not the rule.
Is it unfair to expect Hunt to produce original content on par with Paint Touches? I get PT is more than one person but Hunt gets paid to do this stuff.
warriorchick and I give our best to the Williams family. I applaud Mr. Hunt for sitting on the story until such time as Mr. and Mrs. Williams chose to go public. Some who were in Lexington (including us) knew on Thursday and expressed our best wishes and prayerful support. Buzz was deeply appreciative. The best moment occurred following his triumphant return from the Davidson game. I'll leave it private except to say that the he appreciates her more than you can imagine. Enjoy the game tomorrow Corey!

She's still around, good person. She pops up on Facebook from time to time with some former MU admins when we were all there. She's an IU grad, don't hold it against her. ;)

I read where Mike gave up drinking so he's now an old, dried out Hunt.

Her writing was ok but she didn't put much effort into covering MU. I recall her saying she was paid to cover the Packers; MU was a distraction.
I understand she has a Mother of All Tramp Stamps. That may redeem her in the eyes of some folks here.
We are pleased to hear that Corey came through her emergency appendectomy. We can only imagine the stress and chaos this caused in your family. Please accept our wishes on a complete and speedy recovery. We apologize for our tardiness in this regard. Sometimes we get distracted. Fortunately, you are married to someone who isn't easily distracted and knows what is important. God Bless. Signed, the MUScoop board
Compare Jason Wildes blog to Hunt's. let me know what u find.

This medical issue was reported five or six days ago. Did some of you not hear about this until now?
