Blue, Lockett and Garner are looking good. Only 6 minutes left in practice.
How's the turn-out? Lot of MU fans?
There was a decent crowd for noon on a Wednesday. Only had people sitting on one half of the floor. Majority there were Marquette fans, interspersed with some Syracuse and Indiana fans. Saw some Miami folks move down after I left to go back to work.
Here are some pics - not the best quality, but proves it took place!
I would say about 150-200 fans, most of them MU. It is my first Sweet 16 open practice, so I cannot say if that is a good turn-out. FWIW, I came back to the office shortly after the Syracuse practice began, and it appeared there were more SU fans than we had, but not by much!!!. 8-)
Players appear to be relaxed and having a good time. It certainly was not a full-speed practice. But again, we are talking about just practice. (Insert Iverson comment here!!!!)
I have no idea how to upload pictures/video. My pictures are not as good as Norm's, but I do have a nice video of the end of the practice when players were practicing half court shots. Help with uploading pictures/video will be appreciated. :-[

One interesting note about watching practice today. I sat next to a guy who recently moved to DC who happened to grow up in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, hometown of Tom Crean. So, I asked him if he knew the Crean family and he said, "yes, he was my high school coach." I asked him what he thought of Crean and he said he was a great guy. I told him a lot of MU fans don't like him anymore, mainly because of the way he left Marquette. He said that was understandable, but that he had nothing but positive experiences with him and thought he was a good coach. He was going to stick around and talk to him during the shoot around for IU, but I had to get back to work.
