It hasn't been the most consistent year, but Trent's game tonight was H-U-G-E!!! He has been an impact transfer, and he's had more ups than downs, IMO.
Had a very nice second half of the season. So glad he's on the team.

His game is a lot like Nnamaka's. Lots of little things add up to a lot.
So many little things - such a quietly consistent player
I owe Mr Lockett an apology. This whole team is made up of a ton of "little things" players and moments. He really stood out.
So glad he is at Marquette. That dude kicks ass.
He came up with a lot of loose balls. I liked everything he did tonight. It's hard to take him off of the floor.
Need Lockett more than you can imagine to play well, as you get deeper into the tournament it is hard for a center to get points, so Devante and Chris are limited, Junior lets say is
Junior. Anderson, he almost made a shot today, so somebody had to step up, way to go Trent, played great D and scored, what a tip-in. It is great when many players can step
up, Blue out of sight!
Lockett lead the team in minutes both games with 38.
Props to Trent. Killer game tonight!
Here, here! I don't love the graduate transfer rule but am beyond happy he came to MU.
Trent's a class act and solid contributor... Glad his transfer has a pay-off coming his way with post-season success!
I definitely owe him an apology. He was one of the first mu players I actually openly said I disliked. He certainly proved me wrong- from that senior day speech to the fact that he willingly plays the part of the role player as good as jimmy B's first year- I really couldn't be happier. Just another reason buzz knows so much more about basketball than me. Even though he has only been here a year he will certainly not be forgotten

I've been on him too.
Consistent? Maybe from the sense that he doesn't panic much and (what I really like about him) how he attacks the glass on the offensive end (layup, off board, putback).
Don't forget about Trent's 11 big rebounds vs Davidson too.
I had just been thinking I'd start a thread about what a great game Lockett had and how it might easily have been overlooked when I saw that someone beat me to it. Trent was tough all night. I've had my Trent moments, usually prompted by turnovers, but he has been a solid contributor all year, working hard and being a true "glue guy." Glad you were a Warrior, Trent.
I'm calling Trent the Leatherman from now on. He has the tools to do a little bit of everything.

When Trent plays within himself, he is a most excellent contributor in many areas. A team needs people like that.
I don't think he played in the tournament at Arizona. It's good to see him have his moment in the sun. Enjoy the ride, Trent!
He has cut down on the bad drives, the bad turnovers, losing his man while watching the ball, and end-game defensive snafus. He has been a really steady player for the last few weeks. And he has shown himself to be a class act and a leader. Thank you for spending a year at MU.
He is our best rebounder. Unbelievable nose for the ball.
after seeing him play in person for the first time all year, it was clear how active he is, and what buzz means when he says he can't take out of the game. great defense on and off the ball.
