What heart, and what an effort in the 2nd half. They played like Warriors!
That was the best half of basketball they played all year. Even if they would have lost, I would have been proud of the effort. Incredible.
Tough as nails!
I love this team so much. I honestly can't even put it into words, I think more than any other team I've watched at Marquette. I've had faith in them all year, but right now it's just feelings of pride at their accomplishments.

Well said and I feel the exact same
Boom nailed it!
I agree, that 2nd half team was great, and it reminded me more of the Marquette teams of old (meaning the last few years). We have to get back to pressing and getting easy baskets as we struggle in the halfcourt and jump shooting in particular. Might take a slight toll on our defense, but the easy transition offense that could often result should be well worth the change.
When I saw that Clarke hurt his hand I felt we had the advantage. Don't think he made a shot after that.
So impressive tonight. MU just never gives up.

I would agree when we are the more Athletic team.
Vs Louisville. Probably not.

Don't believe so either. Turned the game to a large extent. Couldn't happen to a better kid
Unreal. Game of the tourney. Butler in conference will be pretty fun.

Agreed -- I wanted to wipe that smirk off his face that he displayed the entire game.
I would take Clark on my team. Incredible player.

Agreed. I can begrudge a smirk, given the caliber of his play.

/stands up and claps in agreement
I don't mind when our players squawk when they celebrate...I can't mind when others do it.
That was a great game. Play like they did the second half and we can hold our head high win or lose; but its much more fun to win!

Yep, I hate him but I respect him. It's nothing personal at all...he never did anything I disliked besides drain shot after shot against us!

Completely agree.
Especially proud of VANDER BLUE. I don't really buy into these type of cliches, but Vander looked like he just wasn't going to let this team lose tonight.
Great job by D.Wilson as well.
Amen.
Hard to believe we'd loose over half our scoring last year and still get back to the sweet16. Buzz is an MU treasure and these kids are warriors.

Agreed, but I don't mind passing the torch to some other team for next round and enjoying a casual 12 point victory.
Unlike some people here, which we wont see tonight, never doubted this team. Even through those tough losses, still didnt doubt em. Im never going to doubt a team im a fan of though. thats just silly.
