Of course Vander, not even close.

I have to give Junior second half credit though.  He was brutal in first half and stepped it up bigtime in second half.  He held Clarke to two threes in second half.  Clarke's last field goal was 5 minutes into the second half and DID NOT score a point for 15 minutes.

Team effort on that one.  D Wilson also deserves some of that love.

I suppose there isn't an alternative to Vander, but that unbelievably bad/stupid inbounds pass should have ended our season. That said, why is one of our quickest guys and best FT shooters inbounding the ball??? He should be on the receiving end.

Obviously Vander Blue.  But you gotta give credit to Lockett for as good a game as I can remember from him.  J Wilson solid again and big plays at various times from Junior.  Love the whole aggressive attitude in the 2nd half.

Blue.

Great team effort!  I really thought we showed a lot of heart the second half.

VANDER -- WHO ELSE??? BEST GAME EVER

I said after last year that Buzz would be defined by how well Vander rises to the occasion. Well Buzz, you did good tonight. You got the absolute best from this young man when it mattered.

That said, we won as a team. Everyone did great pulling one out of the fire. A very mature game by MU.

Unbelievable game from Vander.  The old cliche is star players are the ones who come through when it matters most.  A ton of props to go around through - Lockett was incredible, Junior had a fantastic second half, Derrick Wilson gave it his all on the defensive end.

FYI.

Junior had 9 points in second half with only one turnover and had no points in first.

Lockett played 36 minutes.  13 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal

Junior was solid in the 2nd half but in the 1st he had a few annoying momentum ruining mishaps.
