How does one insert a picture in a post? Yes I did see the insert image button but I could not figure out how to use it and my kids aren't home.
Type the following:
[img]photo's url[/img]
If you right click on a photo and click properties, you can get the photo's url.

May you spend eternity seated next to Tom Crean!!!!
As long as we are asking, what is the best way to imbed a video? I have tried a couple of different ways, and even Googled how to do it, and I am not getting very good results.
Apologizing in advance. When I learned how to use a computer, those suitcase-sized Compaqs with the 6-inch green screen were considered state of the art.

From youtube, here's a quick tutorial:
1. Browse to the video in question
2. Copy the url, and paste it into the little typing box
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M-jOZRe0-8
3. For some reason you have to remove the "watch?" and then replace the "=" with a forward slash, that makes the url look like:
http://www.youtube.com/v/5M-jOZRe0-8
4. From there, hit the little red pinwheel "insert flash" button (if you can't see it, hit the preview button and you'll end up in the full text editor window) which gives you:
[.flash=200,200][/flash]
5. Put your modified url in between the flash tags like this:
[.flash=200,200]http://www.youtube.com/v/5M-jOZRe0-8[/flash]
which will give you this:
http://www.youtube.com/v/5M-jOZRe0-8
6. I usually change the aspect ratio, because a tiny square doesn't make sense. To do this you change the numbers in the flash= part. I usually pick 500 by 300 because it's easy to remember and it's close enough to the standard US widescreen aspect ratio:
[.flash=500,300]http://www.youtube.com/v/5M-jOZRe0-8[/flash]
looks like
http://www.youtube.com/v/5M-jOZRe0-8
Thanks! Ugh, no wonder I couldn't figure that out on my own!
