Yup.
I said it was a rumor. Enough that was making the rounds in reputable news outlets.

Howland is the one I'm pretty serious goes.
Did Gonzaga join the Big East yet? Haven't seen that in anything reputable yet, Keefe!
Misleading subject.
Shouldn't it be "Jamie Dixon Re-Signs WITH Pitt?"
Here I was expecting to see some sort of drama about Jamie Dixon storming off from Pitt. ;)
That is a slightly misleading title.

I'm waiting to see the G5 flight from Gainesville to SMO.

I was effing with Chicos.
Reminds me of the reinterpretation of Augustine. It was believed that Augustine wrote sex was for re-creation but further analysis confirms he meant sex is for recreation!

Can a 787 land in Santa Monica?

Seeing as they're still grounded other than test flights, that'd be quite the feat to get one to even take off.

Slightly misleading? It says Dixon is leaving (FROM) Pitt.
In reality he RE-signed WITH Pitt.
I expect MQ grads to be better with their prepositional phrases.
Superbar? ;)

Sorry, missed that it was a joke.

Can a 787 fly without an issue, let alone a landing?

I would have to look at a Jepsen but I referenced a G5 which easily slides in there.
I just looked at the Op Reps for SMO and a 78 could land there but all traffic for the past two years has been Class D VFR with Itinerant Traffic mixed in. The problem a 78 would have is not runway length but noise restrictions. I doubt they get below the 95 dBA SENEL. This is especially critical in recovery on short field which requires heavy reverse thrust. Looking at their noise limits you'd get written up pretty easily which means some heavy fines. F#cking California. People buy a home near an airfield that's been there forever then bitch about the noise. Go figure.
Guess they're still confident even after another tournament crap-out. Guessing JTIII and Brey will be asking for extensions as well after crapping out even harder.

That's funny. Barkley had a great comment after the other guy read the announcement. He remarked, "Just think what sort of an extension he would have gotten if he hadn't lost in the first round!"
Oh, Dixon is signed through 2023? That's cool.
We signed a dude through 2017.
