But the A10 has been pretty damn impressive so far.
Butler, VCU, SLU and Temple have all won their first round games. LaSalle is up 18 to Kansas State at half.
It does give me a little bit of pause for tomorrow.
They were a solid conference this year and Butler hasn't changed since we played them the first time. It will be a tough game, but if we keep Clarke in check we walk away and into the Sweet 16.

Temple and LaSalle are costing me a couple of brackets.
Bucky, however, did not. ;D
VCU played Akron and St Louis played New Mexico St...not world beaters. Now if LaSalle wins, the A-10 will have my attention.
The A10 was a really good league all season long. They were probably better than the ACC, Big 12 and PAC 10 (Problem is they have some really hardcore bottom feeders). They have some legit contenders. I am actually really hoping to see a SLU-Louisville game. Could be entertaining as heck.

Did I read that Akron had 2 starters out with injury and another suspended because of arrest?
What's interesting is that 3 5 seeds lost. The only 5 seed that won was vcu and I think that final score was like 200-12.
I know their (Akron) star PG was arrested on drug trafficking charges right before their conference tourney.
I think a couple of the Akron guys were ill as well.

The A10 appears to be very underrated. So does the PAC12.
Announcers said the top 4 players for Akron did not play in the game.
Don't speak too soon...as good as they're looking on the whole, La Salle isn't out of the woods yet.

Apparently I jinxed them.

Now
that's something UDPride would (should) say.
11 NCAA units the A10 as earned thus far and Butler/X can't have any of them...

Butler can have their share of ours... Stevens just needs to take them on the Bourbon trail for lunchtime tomorrow ;D
Also, if Lyons didnt transfer to Arizona for his Senior year, and the Xavier J Board didnt wrongfully expel Dez Wells (who transferred to Maryland), Xavier would have been a top 15 team all year.
