In the Buzz Williams Era, this was the fifth worst eFG% game a MU team shot, and the worst game this season. Of the top 5 worst, this was the only game MU won. This list includes some of the biggest stinkers with Buzz's name attached to it...like the UL choke job. I supsect MU only does better henceforth as they flush this anomaly.

On the other hand, the turnover rate was one of the best of the season...and the best since February 9 against DePaul. That is key considering that the first three MU plays of the game were unforced turnovers....and coupled with the Offensive Rebounding rate win, were the two key stats that kept the boys close in a game with only 60 possessions.
Yessah... 10-11% turnover rate after the first three possessions. If we keep it to 15ish or lower against Butler (doable) I'd be pleased.
OR% scares me a little bit against Butler... Andrew Smith had foul trouble and played 24 minutes before fouling out the first time against us.. we managed to keep the rebound percentages even in that game. Hope we can do the same (or better) this one. Otule -- just repeat your performance from yesterday!!!!
Which is why I maintain we played very well, we shot couldn't buy a basket. I can't remember any really dumb plays out there. Nothing would fall!

Not too bad but there were some dumb plays. One was when we let the clock run down and then foul maybe the best free throw shooter in the country. I believe Anderson fouled him.
