OK, Blue.   But big props to Chris Otule and JWilson for not quitting after a lousy start.

Props to Otule, but 13lue was nothing short of clutch.

I have questioned a lot of a otules game many times and been a vander supporter. That said, give it to Chris. Only guy who looked like he wanted to win all game long.

Tough.  Chris kept us going a lot making some big plays with his blocks and boards.  But Vander's three and game winning shot does it for me.  So huge.

And Vander *did* will the team with what, 7 points in the last 90 seconds?

Vander Blue

Great game by CO. But Jamil stepped up in the final minute and so did Blue. Ultimately, Blue won the game, so he gets my vote for SOTG

And Blue gets my vote.  CO played a great game as well.  Blue gets the nod, though.

It's Blue. Gotta be my boy Blue.

Center position as a whole. Got 20 pts on 7/9 FG & 6/7 FT, 13 boards and 4 blocks. Only reason Blue & Wilson were even able to have those shots matter.

Love Jamil at the end of crucial games.  His intensity level rises off the charts.  But, gotta go with Blue for the winning basket.

Tough call, but I say Blue.  Hard to give it to the guy that we take off the floor when the game is on the line.

Leading scorer, clutch 3 and the game-winning shot yet people still try to find a reason for the SOTG to not be Vander Blue. Amazing.

Otule had an excellent game but it wouldn't have mattered if not for Blue's heroics.

Loves me some CO, and hoping big time he's back next year, but come on ...

If Vander had gone 0-4 with 2 TOs in the last 2 minutes, we'd have been saying he lost us this game, no matter what happened in the first 38 minutes.

Instead, Vander put the team on his back the last 2 minutes and won us this game, no matter what happened in the first 38 minutes.

The very definition of a big-moment stud.

Chris deserves it.  He played a more complete game.  Double - double and 4 blocks.  Van had the winner, but we can't just give it to him because of that.

Buzz said as much. Interesting that Chris was not at the press conference however.

Worthy selection.  Chris is a soft spoken guy but I think he genuinely enjoyed interacting with the Marquette family after the game.  A better definition for Vander is 'Hero of the Game'.

Well OK. As I said, I really like CO and he certainly had a fine game on the big stage.

But if Luc Longley has 11 points and 11 rebounds and then Michael, even if he had been sub-par most of the night, carries the Bulls to an elimination-game win in the last 2 minutes, Luc ain't THE stud.
