Hey All,
I was wondering if anybody had any insight on how to get student tickets for the Lexington rounds. I wasn't able to find much on google or the Marquette athletic site so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Forgive me for putting on my Mom hat, but don't you have class on Thursday and Friday?
I have a feeling that Marquette will not have any official "student" tickets. It sends the wrong message.
Don't they always send out an e-mail a couple weeks before and allow you to enter the lottery for tickets?

You're forgiven, and you are right on - Mrs. legs supports you completely (psssttt....OP, please don't listen to her. Get your @ss to Lexington and deal with the make-up later...you only have one senior year NCAA tourney).

MU Actually does sell an allotment of tickets to Student Fanatics season ticket holders, so if you had fanatics tickets just call the athletic dept. and put your name on a waiting list for tickets. If you're not a Fanatic, then you need to find one to both do it for you and go to the game to pick up the tickets, each person can request up to 4 tickets.
Ticketmaster still shows regular tickets available. Does this mean the location didn't sell out?

I had a semester with class only on Monday and Wednesday, so who knows :)
Stubhub has tickets for $12 right now. Was thinking about snagging a couple of those to get through the gate, then look for Butler/Bucknell fans after the first game who might be leaving and ask to use their seats. Anyone ever had any luck with this? I'm a poor college kid on a budget...

Good plan...as fans clear from the previous game since you buy a session ticket, experienced fans with the cheaps seats offer to pay you for your ticket stubs to upgrade themselves as you get up to leave to go back to the hotel.
Good to know. I take it the same strategy could work for getting tickets for Saturday? Look for fans of losing teams and buy their Session 3 tickets off them? Thanks for the help!

Yep...try to do it inside...folks will take 50% if they lose...on the stubs, it is important to get the actual stub. A lot of fans just grab the departed seats without the stubs, but someone may return to those seats as they are just grabbing food or the departed may sell the stub on the way out....then it becomes a cake walk and you are SOL as there is a mad scramble...so pay $5 per stub to ensure your seat...or even better just ask for them for free first.

Yep. We sold our stubs to upper deck UK folks last year following MU's win over Murray State. That was such a hot ticket that we got $20 per.
