Travel snafu
If Golden Eagles players ever needed a reminder about how fortunate they are to travel via chartered airplane in the regular season, they got it on Monday.
Due to a three-hour delay leaving Vancouver, British Columbia following their four-game exhibition swing over the weekend, the Golden Eagles arrived in Phoenix late, thus missing their connection to Milwaukee.
As a result the team split into two groups, with one getting to Milwaukee through Las Vegas and the other returning home after a layover in Chicago.
Either way, MU players won't be back on campus until the wee hours Tuesday morning.
Not a great way to start an already holiday-shortened week of classes.

David made it to class this morning. I've got Latin American History with him. Glad to see a late arrival is not effecting his attendance to class...the fact that we had a quiz today probably helped this too. :)
yaa fitz made it to a 935 this morning. he comented on the long trip home too, he said it took almost a full 24hrs to get back to campus

Even if he didn't make it, you can't have a much better alibi then a major newspaper's reporter recording your travel issues in his blog.
The big question is .. will MU have some sort of a banner at the BC for having gone 4-0 on this trip?

no, exhibition games that wasn't really a tournament. Maui and Great Alaskan Shootout are fairly high profile tourneys so I don't see it as that bad to advertise it.
I think Hilltopper was just trying to beat PRN and others to punch.
