Should be a good game though think the Warriors can still pull it out
They have to beat Rutgers first!

About as well as anyone else. This is the Big East Tournament Quarterfinals every team is going to be a tough out. If you look at the higher seeds (Syracuse, Cinci, Nova, and ND) we could have played we are 2-2. We could lose to any of them. It is what it is and you just have to win.
I actually think we will be playing Rutgers. They looked good tonight, albeit against DePaul, but sometimes playing that extra game gets a team into a better rhythm.
Looking forward to playing Domers again. I hope we get them and flat out bury them.

100% agree - Rutgers looked pretty good tonight (albeit against DePaul), wouldn't be surprised if they beat ND. Not scared of either, however.
MU has to play somebody.
Bring 'em on.
Hit them hard in the nose.....break their finger and their nose.
It will be nice to see how MU plays a good, solid team on neutral ground.
Feeling good. Let's play ball!
DePaul was horrid. My goodness are they bad. So I have no idea how good Rutgers really is.
This is where I don't like the double bye. Playing an ND team that has a game in hand worries me, but I think we should pull it off.
Otule and devante need to man agaisnst Cooley; gotta think he'd be fired up after missing last game; hopefully mayo, Lockett, blue, Wilson, and cadougan are ready to bring the offense!!! Taylor may be critical too if there's foul trouble for the bigs.
Good and peaceful until the game starts.

Agree, I do not like the double bye. Forget the exact stat but Elmore said something about the double bye and it was something like more than half of the teams who get it lose their first tourney game. The single bye gets you one free round but then you can get your momentum going into the rest of the tourney.
Having said that...still loving that we did enough good work during the season to land us in the top spot of the conference.
Get them in foul trouble, their bench is not that strong.
Hopefully it'll just be one game on the way to a season ending winning streak.

I think they put up a stat that since the BE went to the double bye format, teams with the double bye are 15-14 in the quarters. Last year we looked pretty bad on Thursday but Louisville was really finding its groove at that point.
Yeah, I'm nervous. Crapped the bed last year, but this team continues to surprise.

God I really hope they start to turn it around soon. Feel sorry for them.
At least we are battle tested at MSG unlike any other team this year. Recent O/T victory for the conference championship on national TV.

Which in my opinion has little to do with a team having or not having the double bye, but rather the fact that the games are typically going to feature two pretty good teams with not much margin between them - across the board, but particularly where the 3 and 4 seeds are concerned.

I have a feeling it'll be Rutgers too.

Nope. Domers just too much for them IMHO.
Bring em. Then I want Louisville.

Cooley did not play against us?
I also want Rutgers, just so that I don't have to look at the hideous Adidas zubas uni's that ND will be subjecting us to unveiling.
Yea you can have Louisville I will take anyone else
Junior and I wouldn't pick LVille if we had a choice.

Cooley did not play against us?
He had the opposite of Mike Deane's dry farts.
QuoteHow is everyone feeling about playin ND again on Thursday?
I'm feeling like I will really enjoy watching Marquette kick
their asses.
I am feeling great..hamstring is 100% I know I can give a solid 4-6 minutes off the bench and establish some law and order under the boards. Just hope the paramedics are there with oxygen and a defibrillator.

He played...but he was playing the part of a guy who didn't play. And he did a terrific job.
