A main tenant of the Clinton campaign is that she has the "experience" necessary to be able to make the tough decisions.
What experience?----who or what has she ever governed? The last time a member of the senate won the presedency was John Kennedy in 1960 (and he squeaked in)-----and you may have to go back all the way to Abe Lincoln to find a memeber of the congress wining the presedency. One of the reasons for this is NO experience governing!
Murf - present a legitimate republican contender that could muster 40% of the vote and we can discuss qualifications.
Not to butt in, mviale, but Giuliani would get significantly more than 40 percent of the vote. Hell, he would have beaten Hillary in New York had he not had to drop out of the rtace due to cancer.
When all is said and done, I think it will be Romney for the Republicans------will run away with the first two primaries (Iowa & NH) and ten gather momentum elsewhere-----has a great deal more experience than Hillary-----he actually governed in Massachsetts-----great biz bacground/resume to boot. Meanwhile Hillary's experince is limited to Hillary care and voting for the war then against it (and stay tuned for still another 180 there).
Rudy carries some family & personal baggage-----but in the event he does win the nomination----he's governed as well as Mayor of NYC----has had to make the tough decisions.
Governing experience will be a huge issue for Mitt or Rudy against Hillary!
I would take Guliani against a dem any day - not sure if his experience outweighs Clinton or the 2 presidents?
Mitt - you really think Mitt has a chance with a narrow minded audience like the republican party? Mitt also has a flip flop problem. I think the republican primaries will elect someone other than these 2 and believe Clinton would cut their balls off.
Please tell me----what successful experience does Hillary have? I don't see anything she's accomplished----please help me out!
Romney is the best qualified of all the candidates by virtue of his background-----has governed successfully and has an outstanding biz background-----in this day and age of a complex "global economy" this is extremely important!
It wont happen for Mitt - americans think big love and other things.

I take it you're referring to his mormon faith------fuuny the liberals in Massachucettes didn't seem to care what religion he was when they elected him Governor -----nor do the people of Iowa or NH where he has campaigned alot and has a huge lead seem to care what religion he is.
The guy can sell----very well spoken and Ronald Reagan like stage presence!

IMO, Hillary is a political opportunity of the worst sort and I'll never vote for her.
That said, it's ridiculous to question her accomplishments. She:
- graduated from Yale Law
- partner in a pre-eminent law firm
- U.S. Senator
But yeah, other than that she's never accomplished much in life.
She has accomplished something but that isn't the point----the point is that she doesn't have any governing experience----she wasn't a mayor, she wasn't a governor, she wasn't even a vice president-----yet she's running against people who have experience administering at some level of government.
BTW----do you think she would ever have been elected a Senator from NY had her name not been Clinton? Do you think she would be the nominee of her party if her name weren't Clinton? She's not where she is because of any special qualifications on her part----but because her name is Clinton and she's extremely ambitious.
Hillary helped Bill get elected in 1992 - Murf, you act as if she is the present first lady. She beat your front-runner rather easily.
