Title: Milwaukee viewing locations for Thursday's game
Post by: real chili 83 on March 11, 2013, 04:15:59 PM
I am going to be in Milwuakee this Thursday on business.  I am looking for a good option for viewing the game with fellow alum.  Suggestions?

Upper 90 (old Calderone Pub) is the "official Marquette Bar"
Pros: Lots of TVs, good food menu, cool servers, clever Marquette coasters (steal a few)
Cons: not a lot of walk space if there is a crowd, a few TVs in the far corner need to be replaced.

$3 Lakefront taps (Stein, IPA, Fixed Gear) during the game as well.

I know that it is full of students, bad food, etc. but I like the Annex; my kind of partisan crowd. My season tickets are right next to the students. I love the intensity.

Aren't the students on break?

Good point. They weren't there Saturday so break was either last week or this week. I'm sure that it will open for the game and the main room will fill up but maybe not the back room.

Break is this week. I imagine things will be pretty quite still on Saturday.

Is the food no longer poisonous?

Home. All I can drink with no public intoxication charge. Win! Or the Upper 90. Whatever suits you?
