This should be on NBC, Thursday Night comedy.

10% 3 pt shooting.  ZFB could do better.

They barely run the swing anymore.  They just jack threes.

Fun facts:

2003-2008: .765 winning pct., 1.2 free throw attempts per 3-point attempt
2009-2013: .691 winning pct., .79 free throw attempts per 3-point attempt

Never a good sign when you have 4 white guys on the court at the same time.  Who said traditionals are good?

Jake Thomas. White boy and MVP of the team. (;

Brust went to my high school. Kid can straight up ball.

I would take Sam Dekker any day of the week.  He is going to be a hell of a player and is *exactly* what UW needs more of.  A wing who can not only shoot, but put the ball on the floor and take it to the hole.

If both wanted to transfer to MU, I would take Dekker over Tokoto in a heartbeat.

Couldn't agree more.  He is strong taking it to the basket.  Hew will be a star before he is finished.

A lot of guys can ball in high school. Defense is slightly better in Big Ten.

Brust isn't a bad player by any stretch.  He is like a more athletic Jake Thomas.  I mean, I wouldn't make room for him at MU considering what we have now and will have coming in, but he's a D1 player.

are there people on here that are jealous or wisconsin or something? Why is there a thread every game about them? We just put up 60 on a horrible rutgers team I wouldnt say that our offense if clicking right now either.

Even conceding a big athletic edge to Tokoto, Dekker is a waaaay better basketball player. I'd love him at MU.

It just tells you how hard it is to win on the road.  Last 2 games for bucky were horrible, when you live and die with the 3, this can happen.  NO inside presence with Bucky.

I don't think Wisco is quite as good as they have been in the past, but let's also remember that in the past 5 or 6 years, several other programs have upgraded their coaches and the league is simply better now.

Crean
Beilein
Matta
Tubby
Painter (although I'm not sure what is going on at Purdue right now)

The Big10 has better coaches than when Bo first arrived.

No doubt Bo benefitted from a down era in the Big Ten. Usually good programs at Indiana, Michigan and Iowa
have been bad to awful. Illinois and Purdue have been "meh" and Northwestern and Penn St have been their normal stinkola. Add traditionally horrid Nebraska to the mix and Wisconsin has had an awful lot of "gimmes" over the past few years.

Because those Madison jagoffs think Bo walks on water, and the fact is his offensive system is a complete joke.

Except when Thomas swatted the crap out of Wisconsin's most athletic player, Sam Dekker.

It was Juan Anderson that had the huge block on Dekker, not Jake Thomas.

Let's have some fun...let's compare Brust with Vander Blue.  Pretty surprising stats from the UW guy...especially when you consider the much fewer possessions that UW usually has.

http://statsheet.com/mcb/players/compare?add=vander-blue&p1=ben-brust

UW has some players.  What they don't have is a decent point guard - not really anything they can do about that with the Gasser injury.  But what they are missing most are some athletic wings...and I think they are taking steps to fix that with both Dekker and these two.

What surprised me was that Brust has only been to the free throw line 39 times this year. I know that's somewhat caused by Bo's offense, but that seems like an incredible low number.

Yeah, at 6'1", he doesn't take it all the way to the basket all that often.

If Looney ends up there....

If Looney ends up there.... one of those other two guys is going to suddenly lose his desire to play basketball, and then miraculously re-discover his passion for the game at Bowling Green State.
