How do you think the A10 responds to losing three powerhouse and two pretty good teams? It would seem to me that their best options are Belmont Dadson Murray State and Ohio. Not sure which of them would go but without getting some of those teams the A10 fades into the back drop again

Ohio plays football in the Mid-American, they won't leave for a basketball only conference.
My guess would that they become the A10 again and don't add anyone. The schools you mention are really scraping the bottom of the barrel (with the possible exception of Belmont).

Davidson is decent though. They actually have a surpringly good little tradition. If I were the A10 I'd defs hop on them and Belmont
BU might be another option if they're really looking for more teams.
Just not the options to replace losing your top teams. Xavier, Butler, Temple, Charlotte this year and likely St. Louis and Richmond next. They can take the best of several mid-majors if they can sway them but will never as good as they were.

Going to the Patriot League for next year. A really good fit for them, doubt a few more bucks could sway them to the A-10.

Wow, didn't know that, even though I also have a degree from there. That is a better fit for them.
Here's a list of schools and the conferences they're currently in that could be potential targets for the A10:
Colonial Athletic Conference
George Mason
Horizon League
Cleveland State
Detroit
Loyola
Valpo
Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference
Siena
Missouri Valley
Bradley
Drake
Wright State.

How do you get that's it is likely that Richmond leaves? All reports seem to indicate Creighton as the 10th team and Dayton and SLU next year. Did I miss something?
I would guess they target some Horizon schools. Valpo definitely, they are a rock solid program and would be a very good addition for the A-10. Detroit, Wright State, and/or Cleveland State would be enticing targets too, I would assume.

We don't say the D word here.

It's not set in stone by any means.

I would say Wichita State but that is probably not realistic due to the distance.

A lot of the Dayton talk is just media thinking aloud. SLU as 11 is something I would lean on more but that 12th team is wide open and it may be more than a year for them to come in.
