I'm just glad this team is taking it one game at a time. They're going to give it their best shot and, the Good Lord willing, things will work out.

All the pieces are in place.  We just have to give 100%.

also look at our recent schedule; we have one two games and followed that up with a loss several times in a row now.  obviously more matchup driven than anything else, but a little concerning to see that on the schedule page.

First five minutes of each half and the last two minutes of each half we just need to be on point

I thought a trap game was when you played a team that sucked before a team that was really awesome?

This.

What you all really mean is this is just a road game against an inferior opponent we are suppose to crush, but what will really happen is we will crap on ourselves the minute we enter the gym and lose.

We have to execute.

We have to want it more than they do.

We have to play to win, not to lose.

We have to take care of the ball.

We have to value every possession.

We have to trust each other.

We have to buy in to the system.

We, um, uh ... we have to come up with some new coachspeak and cliches.

All road games.  Interesting.  Life in the BEast.  I think this team has turned a corner and will not be trapped by Rutgers.  Rutgers has mailed it in. I'm laying the points.

Buzz needs to remind the team that we just need to take what the defense gives us

Rutgers is averaging 57 points a game and shooting almost less than 40% in last 12 games.  They lost 25% of their offense when Eli Carter (15ppg) went out with broken leg.  Only thing Rutgers has going for them is that it is a home game, but may be bad weather in NJ tonight.

MU should cruise, but if they are upset because a guy like Myles goes off, oh boy.......

Marquette has dropped six of nine on the road overall.

MU is 2-1 at Rutgers.

Both wins were won by single digits.

No road game is easy in the Big East.

Rutgers is a terrible basketball team right now. That said, MU has crap their pants at every opportunity to create space in the Big East table this season so I guess it wouldn't be a total shock to see them execute a Cincinnati-esque first half tonight.

MU is thisclose to a Big East championship. An accomplishment I considered impossible six years ago. Would be quite painful to be just five days away from that happening and blowing it.

Should be a tough game.  Rosiak always would say Rutgers was a "House of Horrors."
