I loved watching DG leading a fast break, dribbling down court, dishing off for the assist. It was amazing and fantastic to watch. Our 290 lb. point center. ;D

Fantastic is the right word. Other teams must wonder what the hell goes on at Buzz' practices.
Buzz is on record as saying that Davante is a PG trapped in a big man's body.

The point gardner
Surprised that DG has not lost weight after three years of condtioning at MU. He looks like he could be a terrific tight end for the Packers!
It was a fantastic play and a great pass.

I loved it, but I cringe everytime he brings the ball up court.
Which game was MU trying to hold a lead, got the ball to DG on the press break, and we all got to watch him throw the ball 10 rows deep? It is an old adage that all guards want to post up and all bigs want to be guards. What I DID like, however, is when he and CO were in the game together and DG was playing the 4, how he would handle the ball at the top of the key. Now THAT was fun.
@ Pitt he threw it to someone in the 5th row, had we just run clock at that time we would have won on regulation.

Oh well
He needs to stick with day job of playing center. Didn't he airmail one at Cincy as well?

I gotta say I am impressed with the guys agility for his size. I just think we have better options for ball handlers
I loved his catch and shoot from the free throw line. This whole "playing big" thing seems like such a new thing for Marquette fans! ;)
Devonte "Magic Johnson Squared" Gardner
DG did say he was a PG in a big man's body. That will help his draft stock even though he'll probably end up NBADL or Euro.
But that laser pass to Blue (I think)...man, it had so much zip that there was a smoke circle in the key.
MU Offense has improved since DG has moved around the court. More diversified, less predictable. A new dimension.

He has--pretty sure that he was well above three hundred pounds coming in.
I'm worried that he might be our best PG next season!
(If only I could have written that in half-teal.)
How many teams have a 6"9" guy taking their technical shots?
Loved watching him react to noboday around him up top and calmly potting a deuce. He can play wherever he wants on the court.
What? A thread about Point Center and no mention of Marcus Jackson?

He probably still is. They've listed him at 290 every year since he's been here, I think.
It was a great pass - nice to see him keep it on the court this once.
