Most to ever see a win and hard to believe ND was never on this list before today.
Update for today ...
According the MU media guide, here are the largest single game attendance records.

What does that number do to MU's average attendance? Does that push MU over 15k?
How are those two DePaul games on this list? I am surprised though pleased to see UW-Madison is on there only once. I never considered them a big rival.

UW-Madison is a very good team, even if they aren't a high major.

I'm not at home but I have the stats on a spreadsheet and will update tomorrow. But we needed 18,600ish to average more than 15k this year so that happened. However, we were about 1,000 short of last year's attendance (about 244,000 in total).
Added March 5I updated the stats for this year's attendance in this thread

(I wanted this link here for future searches on attendance that stumble on this thread).

So they are like Gonzaga and Marquette?

I'm not sure how to answer that. You'll have to go to the Wisconsin rivals board for the exact definition of what a 'high major" is. There's a link to it in another thread.

I think their definition of what is a non-high major is anyone they choose not to like.

You've never considered UW a big rival????
I don't know how to respond to this, other than it is most definitely a big rival whether you like them or not.

Let me restate that. They are certainly a rival. Personally, I am much more interested in our games against UL, UC, UND, GU, Pitt and SU as those are our true rivals. I want us to beat UW when we play them but that is no different from when we play DePaul or PC.
I don't live anywhere near Wisconsin so I don't have water cooler discussions before and after the game. I get these types of rivalries. In WA state for instance most people line up for either UDub or Wazzu. Our son played at Wazzu so we root for them. When U Dub plays the Ducks, another big rival for them, I have zero interest.

Yeah, you haven't been paying attention.

It's like Cubs versus White Sox.
Most students I have ver seen at a MU game. Looked like half of University was there. Really exciting.
240,530 on the season. Average-15,033
Time for a banner!
yet we've had no cheesy annoucements since #10 Pittsburgh game. imagine that.
oh, and cut down the nets. don't forget the nets.

Still the loudest of the games on this list that I went to. That spree of Wes, McNeal, and Lazar hitting three 3's in a row in the first half.... good god. The March 2, 2013 ND game was up there though.
Am I the only one to notice that games 12 and 13 on that list happened the same day?

I guess you are. Must have been a twilight-night doubleheader.
That must have been a really good day. Double header vs Pitt and got two Ws! nice. Wonder if they emptied the BC and made everyone re-enter using different tix.
I want to know who the four no-shows for the second game were.

Must Have been a Pitt doubleheader that day!
Was there for six of those games. That 2009 game vs Cuse was the ultimate deciding factor to come here over DePaul and Xavier

No. 9 on the list was the loudest.
