I've got to disagree with you on this one, Sultan. If UDPride did find his way back here to reflect in writing, I think that I would find anything he would write to be rather painful to read. With his magnun opus on the absolute stability of the Atlantic 10 now discredited, I think that he would flounder and frail about like a child who has just discovered that there is no Santa Claus. Ah, innocence lost!
My favorite lines:

If you read between the lines, it was evident that UDPride had been quite bent out of shape about how the basketball only schools of the Big East had "sold out" to get the large Big East TV payout, and now we were set to finally get our comeuppance. As I said, innocence lost.
I guess this is the kind of group think which occurs when a group closes their board membership to keep out dissenting voices.....
I would like to chalk it up to desperation or wishful thinking, maybe even jealousy, but the dude was being a di#@. Wonder if anyone in the A10 is panicking now?

Marquette University has existed since 1881. One of the best things to happen was intercollegiate sports participating in the Big East conference. The prominence gained from the national platform was substantial.
In light of this, every Dayton student and alumn should now be praying the rosary they are picked. UD joining the Big East means being a part of the C7 community. Exclusion means your new rival is LaSalle.
