On Thomas' four point play I don't think I've heard the BC as loud since Novak took down notre dame.
Milwaukee loves traditional players
Touche!
Whole game sounded great on tv.
IWB says it was the loudest crowd of the year. ESPN could simply have kept the volume low for its feed.

That's racist.
It reminds me more of Mike Kinsella vs. Pitt. Some random dude behind me in the student section started strangling me after Kinsella hit his 2nd.

Were you in need of a shower?
My 4th game this year, and most years I make it to two. Most exciting and loudest for me since three amigos on senior day (much better ending!)

Yes, Jake Thomas just joined the Kinsella hall-of-fame.
I wasn't at this game, but I have not been more pumped at a Marquette game before or since Kinsella started raining 3s on fucking Aaron Gray.

Agreed. I also have to say the automatic chant is growing on me.
It was fun atmosphere. That is the type of game and crowd that makes posting on here easy. Fun across the board.
I don't know, Dwight Burke's tip dunk against Georgetown a few years ago was pretty loud. Although Kinsella hitting a 3 was as surprising as Dwight dunking.
I bet robmufan before that season Kinsella would finish with 6 made three pointers.
I lost. He finished 4 for 5. All in the last 5 or 6 games.

Along with Christopherson's huge shot against Cincy.
No way it was louder than the Kinsella or Burke shots. Both those games were sell-outs on Saturday's I think. Tons of juice in the building. Not that there wasn't last night.
Best game I've been too in three years probably. At least the most exciting, considering how friggin' athletic 'cuse looked and the fact we friggin' beat them with our best player essentially out of the game 8 of the last 9 minutes.
The Kinsella three-pointer was probably the loudest since Novak, especially the second one he hit. Still remember that game. I believe Gray for Pitt was on the bench w/two fouls in the first minute of the game and the place was just electric.

And Niv Berkowitz.
I remember people talking about the decibel level for the Novak over ND shot spiking really, really, loud... like jet engine loud. Not sure these other ones quite got there.

Sorry, that may have been me.....
My freshman year was the Novak shot and I was way in the upper deck, what a finish.
But Kinsella draining those two 3's....a buddy of mine with me at the game joked that Kinsella was gonna kill it from 3 as we were watching him nail them during the shoot-around. Our seats for that game were in the "collapsible" part of the student section. I was actually worried that those seats were going to give way.
I'd put it at the loudest since the Georgetown game in 08-09. That was a fantastic crowd last night. Willed the team to a win.
Where it "ranked" I don't know. But I think that was the most jacked up the crowd has been for an entire game all year.

I had diahaherreah or something that game and I was stuck in the Bathroom puking out of my butthole while Kinsella drilled the threes. The whole bathroom shook!
I know I screamed when he made the shot - and I was listening on the TuneIn app on my phone while driving home from work. Could imagine the place was rockin'
Only place I could find video of the Notre Dame shot.

Adding my vote - Never heard the BC louder than Kinsella's second 3-bomb against Pitt. I could have sworn the roof was rattling.
Been to all but a couple games this year, and by far, it was the most actually attended, and the loudest. The student section did very well last night!
Well .. the UW game was the most packed, no doubt. But a quarter were the enemy.

Agree, the Dwight Burke put-back dunk is the moment that always stands out in my mind as being the loudest I've heard the BC.
Where were the students last night? They weren't even loud and half the time you could hear a pin drop. Back in my day...
The loudest I ever heard the BC in my tenure was when Wes, Lazar, and McNeal all made 3's right in a row against UConn on Feb 25, 2009. I was in full gorilla costume and literally fell into the row in front of me.

That doesn't do it justice.
You couldn't even hear the whistle from where I was, it got loud just on the release.
Also, the Badger game this year when Blue hit the shot-clock expiration 3 followed right away by Gardner's coast-to-coast got the place jumping. Not as loud, but probably was the loudest of the season up til Thomas.
All the games you guys have said were great! I was at all those games.
How about the DJO three point shot versus Syracuse in 2011, under minute left and shot clock running down?
DJO shot is on 32 second part of the clip

Been at all of the games discussed and I would have to say that this was the loudest

Awesome clip! If you watch the fans behind Thomas's shot there is a little girl with a grey sweatshirt and yellow and blue ribbons in her hair that pumps both her fists in the air and starts running along the floor behind the Syracuse bench to celebrate. Classic!

I was honestly surprised when I read through that it hadn't been mentioned earlier.
