Holy F***!

Should MU build a bigger stadium than the BMO?

cheapest ticket was $40 face - upper deck and 120 yards away

Someone tell me who I should be rooting for; I'm leaning GTown bc of the Cath 7 but does it do more for MU if GTown loses today and MU can beat the Orange on Monday

For some reason i'm having a hard time to cheer for G-town.

I want Cuse to win, and praying we beat them on Monday.  That would look awesome on the Resume'

I think it depends if you think we can beat Syracuse or not.

True,  is it me, or does Cuse look really tall and lengthy?

Maybe it's the great picture on my computer....

Syracuse so when we play them Monday they are top 5. Help the RPI and will get more publicity. Get more students to the game if its a top 5 opponent.

Probably a thread on this after NOVA game, but there may be some serious matchup defensive problems against the CUSE.  They are long, lean, athletic and right now are just jacking up threes like crazy, though lots of misses.

Who the heck guards Carter-Williams.

Will that really matter? Most students have already decided whether they are going or not...

Syracuse academics at their finest, how does Fair sit on the floor with the ball for 5 seconds and still turn it over?  Call. a. timeout.

Their zone scares me.  Van and De'De' need monster games.

The fact that this game can draw 35k should make Cuse' AD ashamed...

This post scares me ... Nova beat Louisville and Syracuse in the same week.  Lets win later today before we start this talk.

I already predicted a nova win by 6 points, and said they'd win about 2 months ago.

I hope i eat crow later.

Pros to Cuse winning:

Better chance for MU winning on Monday (if Cuse loses they probably will be more than ready for us, dont expect them to drop 2 straight); Cuse will be a higer-ranked opponent for us on Monday (probably 6, 7, or 8 vs. a 11, 12 or 13 if they lose). we will control our destiny for the Big East championship (beat Cuse Monday and we are all alone in first)

Pros to G-town winning:

Helps our RPI (because we played them twice, we will only play Cuse once); ; victory for a fellow C7 member that probably propels them into the top 10; helps the chance of MU-G-town finishing 1-2 in the Big East.

Overall, I'm pulling for Cuse because I think it helps our chances on Monday. But there's a lot of silver linings if Georgetown wins.

3 of the top 5 lost this week. Miami, Michigan State, and Florida. With a victory over a borderline top 10 team I would think Syracuse would move up a spot or 2.

Assuming MU beats Nova, be much better for MU if Cuse wins this game. For a variety of reasons.

Since this is the last game between G/Cuse ... I think it should be epic.  I'm pulling for 7 OTs to set the record with everyone playing so hard that they puke on the court.

Can't decide which result would help us more in the BE race.  The return match is in DC, GU has @UConn and @Nova still while SU has @MU, UL, @GU.  If I was supremely confident in a win tonight and Monday, I'd say SU winning this is better for us in the standings.  Either way, I think Porter's a lock for BE POY.  Kind of want GTown's momentum stopped, but can't stand SU and would like their home winning streak stopped.  Don't care about the faulty logic/superstition that SU losing today suddenly makes them a lock to beat us.

I'm always amazed at the # of people that show up in these terrible seats.

That mid court lower section looks like there are 50+ seats/row.  It looks like a lot of 'excuse me's on the way to the aisle.

Yep. Just suit em up and play. Who cares who wins as long as we win. On Monday, the priors weeks results are history.

Pulling for GU ...

In the 30 year history of the Big East, I've hated no player more than Eric Devendorf.  Because of his existence I will root for Syracuse's opponent in all circumstances.

F'n Georgetown. They aren't going to lose another game the rest of the year. Best MU will be able to do is a tie for the BE title.

I guess on the plus side, with Cuse's loss and Colorado State's loss, MU now has the 2nd longest home court winning streak in the country. For whatever that's worth. No way Cuse is losing two in a row. Ugh!

Cuse could definitely lose two in a row. Any team that stupid basketball-wise can lose two straight.

Not sure why you'd think that.  They've got @Uconn, @Nova, and SU again.  None of those 3 are certain wins.  Kenpom has them losing 2 of those.

Just like CBS has some of the new Big East deal. ESPN has most of it, but CBS is contributing a few million as well.  The conference sells those rights.
