Poll
Question:
Would you actively participate in a MUScoop Lacrosse board?
Option 1: Yes
votes: 8
Option 2: No
votes: 50
any site for MU LAX?
Feel free to discuss in the Superbar forum (http://www.muscoop.com/index.php?board=3.0)
Added a poll, if you can convince at least 75 people to actively participate in a Lacrosse board, we'll think about creating one. Otherwise, as Spiral said, the Superbar is fair game, and if there's another place (outside of MUScoop) for it feel free to share.
.. and there's the wiki .. http://wiki.muscoop.com/doku.php/men_s_lacrosse/start
Would love to see an MU lacrosse forum.
Anyone else heading to Ohio State this weekend? Going to be a great day... Marquette Lax at 1, MUBB v. 'Nova at 6? Sounds like a perfect Saturday to me.
Why isn't valley fields the home field fr the men's lax team? It's in tosa.

To accommodate the expected large crowds.
Really? I didn't think they'd outdraw soccer teams. Any talk of adding more stands at valley fields for next year?
Thx

There's only two home games this season, one against Duke. Duke alone will bring a huge crowd from the Midwest LAX contingent.
Haven't heard much about the Valley Fields. Not a whole lot of room to expand.
Cool. Thx.
I voted no... Not because I don't like the sport. Moreso because it wasn't a sport that was there during my 4 years. It's a young sport with a huge growth rate but I think that I missed the generation to really embrace Lax as a 'real' D-1 sport and I graduated MU in 2007. I wish them all the luck.

+1. Voted no because I thought I'd be honest as I would have nothing to contribute to such a board. Hope they do well though. Its exciting to be adding more D1 sports.
thanks for the reply. I was just hopeing that with D-1 school so close to home that maybe we could get some love for it. I currently have one high school boy in Appleoton and another next next will also be playing. I hope to go down and catch games this year. Of course MU baskeball is my favorite team, but I know love the sport of LAX. Thank you again for at least hearing me out.
