#1 and #4 going to come down to the wire....
Been watching it out of the corner of my eye while following MU on-line. Lot of fun. Go Sparty!
Go Sparty
TC about to kill the clock guy.....
Sparty missed 2 1-1's and failed to block Oladipo out. Do that down the stretch of a tight game and......
He should kill the clock guy...this is ridiculous
That is a terrible foul call on the 3. Just plain awful. Harris clearly jumped into defender.

+1. Not sure how they call that.
Why would MSU miss the 3rd FT on purpose? Make it and foul its a 3 point game after 2 made IU ft's. Strange
IU played well. MSU did not down the stretch. Congrats.
Oladipo is a great player. From Dematha high school, I believe his final Rival's recruiting ranking was like 133 and was offered by MU. Just goes to show.
First win there in 22 years by IU.
Creans first comment in post-game: "can you believe they called that foul?"

With that amount of time on the clock, even if you foul right away, they are probably going to have to make a Ben Brust style 3 and with no timeouts.

Going for the tip in/ put-back.
As it was they fouled with 2.6(?) seconds on the clock after the missed FT. The clock would've been the same on the made FT, then the inbound. It's splitting hairs but I thought it was a strange decision

Yeah I get that. I guess the odds of a tip-in were equal to a last second running 3.

No question. Missed two front ends IIRC, that basically could have ended the game.
IU is good and for real. I thought they would have sure-fire losses at Ohio State and at Michigan State. Picking up those W's is huge for them.

Yup, 3 star kid that somehow developed by a non-developer....just goes to show. ;)
I saw the TC/ Izzo embrace and conversation. TC barely talked to Coach Stephens. Any tension between the two?

Riley must have had a birthday recently

Probably has more to do with his relationship with Izzo and the length of that embrace.
It's a 25 person conga line and if you spend 90 seconds on the first two guys it can get out of hand.

That doesn't fit the meme....you need something more sinister for it to get through here. ;)

"It's officially Indiana versus the field....But after their win at Michigan State, it's time to concede that they should be heavy favorites to win the national championship....My biggest remaining concern about Indiana is that Tom Crean continues to refuse to make in-game adjustments. His hidebound ways contributed to the Hoosiers' losses against Butler and Wisconsin and they helped Michigan State keep the game close Tuesday night. But if having a stubborn coach is your only problem, you're in pretty good shape."
this board isn't the only place that notices Crean's possible only flaw.

It's funny, no in game adjustments and yet he continues to make them. It's why they have won so many games, or is it because other coaches aren't making in game adjustments. Real coaches will tell you he is absolutely making adjustments, sometimes TOO MANY. Lazy fans and lazier journalists come up with this garbage. Remember, IU can't win on the road either....yet here they are with the most wins in the country on the road against top 25 teams. Besides, Crean has plenty of flaws. I actually like Titus, but he also has a pretty good bias going from his days as a OSU player in my opinion.
Here's what I know....when IU loses in the tournament it will be 100% because of Tom Crean. When MU or KU or SU or you name it loses, it will be because we had an off night, didn't shoot well, the other team was better. It is comical to watch. Watching IU win it all just for the sheer joy of watching heads explode nationwide would make me laugh, but I don't think it happens.

I'd agree. Except that he's from IN and grew up as an IU fan.
