Title: Bracketology, 2/19

A 4 seed vs Belmont

A 4 seed vs La Tech

A 4 seed vs La Tech.

I don't particularly care where the 'experts' place us, as it is one big guess.   However, I do like the consistent amount of respect MU is getting.     I would love for MU to finish strong and get to a 3.

Give me so much LA tech. A defensive mid major that can't shoot the 3 (or really much at all) would get destroyed by MU.

The first link is Marquette vs. Louisiana Tech as well.  That's Belmont (12 seed) playing Colorado State (5 seed).  Would love this draw.

Would hate Lunardi's draw.  Ohio State the 2nd round?  No thank you.  Craft would turn Cadougan over 12 times alone.  Then if we get by Ohio State we get to play Florida.  And Michigan at the 2.  That's a brutal bracket.

What would be ideal for me is for us to win out and get a 2 seed in Auburn Hills. We would have a very solid showing there

That second bracket would be great. I think Oregon is a fraud and Miami is a very beatable 1 seed. Would definitely like our chances to get to the elite 8 there.

I too would like to see Marquette win every single game. 3 seed is probably the ceiling though. Just stay away from the 1s

4 seed vs Bucknell here, with a second-round matchup against Colorado State.
Dear God, what would Buzz do with his garage?!?!?

Corrected.

This is one of those years where I'll be afraid to watch round 1 no matter who we play.

Agreed. I honestly would almost welcome a 10 or 11 seed so we have that underdog mentality.

If we won out I would find it hard for a 3 to be our ceiling, winning out would make us both regular season and tournament BEast champs and 27-6 overall (if I did the math right).

I'm saying winning out is very unrealistic

Nice to see. Let's keep it going a few more weeks.

Tonight should move us to lock status. Even if we finish 10-8, the 5 losses would likely be to 3 NCAA teams and all either NCAA or road losses.

10-3 at this point seemed very unrealistic as well.

Given that MU was suppose to play Ohio St, I can see  the committee liking this match up. Frankly, I am not afraid of Ohio St.
