Title: NCCU and Savannah State
Post by: Galway Eagle on February 18, 2013, 08:01:36 PM
They are 10-1 and 9-2 respectively in the MEAC.  Norfolk State is 11-0, seeing as Norfolk turned out to be counted as good wins toward the end of last season, it's possible that we could see one of those two teams turn into another good win.

Home cupcakes: 138, 165, 187, 237 (Maui gift), 316.  Great for the RPI when your low end has only one team below 237.  It's some combination of skill and luck, but whatever is being done in cupcake scheduling, it's working.

Mike Broeker is getting very good at this. Our improved schedule the past 2 years has just as much to do with the bottom of the schedule as the top. Great work to MB and the scheduling crew.

Totally agree, and I know you wrote a lot about this.  150-250 RPI teams at home are as close to auto-wins as it gets, but they are SO much better for your RPI that 300+ teams.  The incremental benefit drastically outweighs the incremental risk.
