No chat room, but feel free to chime in. Channel 1332 on TWC in the brew town.
Wonder if Buzz is in the house? Burton has tried a couple of 3's but has been long on both.
Interestin' to watch Looney matched up with Burton. Big height advantage.
Burton has some hops, though Looney just engraved Spaulding on his kisser. Both of them are playin' at a different speed than the other 8 on the floor. At the end of 1st quarter 17-10, Hamilton.
Anywhere to watch online?
Looney's a load on both ends. At 6'9" has been tough to handle. 27-13 Hamilton.
Burton been very active defensively. At the half, Hamilton 33, Vincent 19
Maybe that's because he is a lot taller?.......

Burton not playing well at all. Maybe 1 for 13 shooting, careless ballhandling and poor defensive posture.
Burton is pressing. Looney is real frickin deal.
I admit to being biased, but Looney in a Warrior uni would make MU a legit FF contender.
Looney doesn't blow you away athletically but everything he does is smooth and efficient. Really long too.
End of 3rd Q---41-27 Hamilton
We're not getting Looney. Last I heard Duke was the frontrunner.
You heard that 2 years ago
Try 2 weeks ago.
Actually, 2 years ago if you were payin' attention.
Yeah, you're right...I often get 2 years ago and 2 weeks ago mixed up. ::)
My point is I posted 2 years ago that he would likely go out of state for college and if a blue blood offer came, that would likely be it.
Game on----6 point Hamilton lead with 3:29 to go.
Hamilton wins by 12. Looney with 33 of Hamilton's 55 pts. Bunch of blocks and boards too. Burton will shine another day.

Your guy is beyond the real deal. Poise and maturity along with talent. Was a fan before tonight but really pulling for him. You are right he would make us FF contender. If he needs a summer job let me know!!!
we get it, you have a hard-on for Looney. You're not the only one. But to play up your insider info without being able to 1) divulge any real information; and 2) probably not know which blue blood he'll choose is getting kind of old.
Did anyone else hear that Looney pretty much verbally confirmed that he will not go to school in state?

He's not coming, we've known this for 18 months plus. He has much bigger opportunities. Wish him well.
So a top 5-10 kid is going to a blueblood program?
That's one daring prediction.
You are to prognostication what Guy Fieri is to flavors - bold!
Thanks 4ever for taking the time to post updates and your observations. Great to have the local talent pool gaining national spotlight. Have to credit the AAU scene for raising the tide recently. With both UW and MU on the ups for a long time, this has to also get the local talent excited, whether they end up in state or not ultimately. Elite talent draws elite coaches and national pub and that also draws attention to the three and four star kids who may have gone unnoticed otherwise.
Would love to see Wisconsin's top high school players go to Marquette or Wisconsin.
While Burton struggled biig time last night there is no doubt in my mind that the kid is going to be a big time college player. Aside from his body he definitely gets the game and is an all around player. Wish he had played better last night but still very excited anout him being a Warrior.
Some of you still think Burton is "big east ready"? 6'5 forwards that can't shoot don't just transition into high major basketball.
