It was a huge sign that had 7 guys wearing hoodies/shirts each with a logo of one of the C7 schools and it read, "Basketball is our religion." Pretty cool I thought.
I did and thought it was awesome. I'd love to get a shot of that.
Hope this works.
It was awesome...same group was waving soccer flags all game and the females had on GU scarves.
Very cool.
C7? More like B7
Yeah that's the section I sit in (although not for most of this year as i'm not in DC anymore) and they're awesome. The "Tifo" or banner is meant to show that what unites the teams breaking away is basketball not the fact that we're Catholic.
Good luck the rest of the way. Please beat Pitt. You'd be helping us out a lot as they have the tie breaker over us. And of course please beat Syracuse when we get to that point.

No problema.
thats really cool, well done georgetown students
It brought a smile to my face and a song to my heart.
I was trying to find a picture of that last night after the game, was hard to see what the bottom said from the same side in the lower bowl.
Anyone explain the faces on the banner? Are they meant to be some form of monkey .. or bank robber mask?
That's pretty sweet, even though our guy is kind of in the background.

Yeah, I was going to ask if this was the Trayvon Marton hoodie collection.
I thought the sign was great!

I thought they looked like Mexican wrestling masks.

It's a soccer thing. Back when soccer used to have far more issues with fan violence, "hooligans" used to show up to the stadium wearing scarfs/masks and sweatshirts so that it would be difficult for the authorities to identify them afterwards.
Doesn't exactly have the same connotations these days, but it's still seen as a sign that team's fans are tough, committed, and loyal.

What song?
"Stayin' Alive"?
"We Are Family"?
"O Come All Ye Faithful"?

I thought it was Hollywood Undead officially announcing their support of the C7.

"We have a new alumni rooting group called the Stonewalls, who made it. There are a bunch of members on here. One of them will likely chime in re: t-shirt intent.

For the record, I preferred "Traitors and Liars will not be missed.""
This might be an idea worth stealing.

Yeahhhh .. maybe we should re-think the "thug" angle.

That would be a good chant for the student section to use on the schools that started the exodus.

See them live next time you have the chance...seriously, one of the most fun concerts I've ever been to. They are SO much better live vs. studio, too!

I like the whole idea of their group. I think our alumni association(s) should reach out to them and try to start a similar movement.
Are the Georgetown and Seton Hall guys holding hands? Not that there's any problem, but really, Georgetown? You can be doing so much better than someone from Jersey.
Look at Providence over there... quiet and unassuming but passionate. He'll treat you much better, too.
