Title: Where to watch in Waukesha?
Post by: 🏀 on February 09, 2013, 10:46:34 PM
Going to be pulling an all nighter in Waukesha Monday night. Where's the best place for the game and dinner? Probably will be a decent sized group if that matters.

Give us an idea of where in Waukesha.  City proper, or out in the boonies?

Champs is OK, but unless you are staying near Brookfield Square, it's a bit of a drive.

This place is way closer:  http://fuzzyspubandgrill.com/

Can't hurt to call if you have a crowd, but on a Monday night, I wouldn't be surprised if it was closed.

... I have a bad feeling we don't want to know what this "all nighter" with a "decent sized group" is doing... ?-(

LW would be ashamed.  That is offensive to Native Americans.

With that said, I can only assume there are a lot of Northern Californians who migrated to Waukesha.

Go to the Nice Ash if you're downtown. Good beers and you can smoke a cigar if you want to. It's run by a good friend s parents. Great people.

Bullwinkles in Brookfield (Barker and Bluemound) and its not even close. They actually have 1/2 price wings on Monday nights as well. I am a bonless wing convert now, but they are outstanding. Great place.

If you like beer, go to Bernie's Tap Room in downtown Waukesha (across from House of Guiness). It's a little more expensive, but they offer somewhere in the 25-30 range of craft beers. It's modeled after a German beer hall with great pairing foods. They have a big projection screen for the game as well.

Yes. And I second this. Bullwinkle's offers 30 wings (boneless or traditional) for a great price. Under 10 dollars I believe.
