Not to brag, but I have actually met  Blue II, the Butler bulldog that went to the championship games (the other one there is Trey, who is only a year old).

Talk about a dog's life.  This pooch has his own vehicle (wrapped with his picture, natch), and his own office in the admin building.  The furnishings consist of a giant food dish and about a hundred doggie toys.

From the furnishings, I'm guessing that the picture was taken at Georgetown.  Anyone else catch the managers behind the chairs holding leashes to keep the dogs in place?  I love that Nike swoosh on the Butler, uh, uniforms.

Sorry, that was one of my few brushes with greatness over the last few years.

That and I had my picture taken with Chumlee from "Pawn Stars".

Chumlee: greatness: Does not compute.  Does not compute.  Does not compute.  Does not compute.  Does not compute.  Does not compute.  Does not compute.  Does not compute.  Does not compute.

Blue II was much less slobbery.

An odd choice to make out with both of them.

Chumlee might not be as attractive as Blue II either?

Get Mississippi state and Georgia too! call the conference tournament the puppy bowl. Obviously, Marquette changes its mascot to the bulldogs in this scenario.

I think MU should differentiate.  I vote for MU Rottweilers.

"Differentiate" - yeah, that's what we were thinking when Golden Eagles came around!

Invite Georgia as basketball-only. They can park their football in the SEC, I guess.
