Title: Who is your Naismith player up to this point in the season?
Post by: Stronghold on February 07, 2013, 08:34:19 PM
For me I'd have to go with Mason Plumlee at this point.  Averaging nearly 18 pts and 11 rebounds on one of the best teams in the country.  McDermott also has a strong case for it.

You mean who is No. 2 behind Vander, right?

I'd vote for Burke at this point.

I'd say...

1) Trey Burke
2) Doug McDermott
3) Mason Plumlee
4) Jeff Withey
5) Russ Smith

That would also be my All-American team.

I'd replace McDermott and Withey with Zeller and Patric Young.

Whoever wins the award should get an asterisk by their name since Todd Mayo was out for the first half of the season.
