I'm traveling down to O'Hare to pick someone up from the airport this weekend, and looking to pick up beers that are hard to find/impossible to get in MKE. Thinking of trying to find Lost Abbey Deliverance, Goose Island Burbon County, and Goose Island Night Stalker.
Does anyone have a recommendation of a store to stop at? (Or beers I should get? :)) I was thinking the Binny's in Niles. Has anyone been there? Is there a better place to go in the area? I won't have a ton of extra time, so I don't want to venture too far from the airport.
Binny's is probably your best bet
Bring me down some New Glarus while you are at it.
How far from O'Hare do you want to go?
The Beer Temple at 3185 N. Elston is about 20-25 minutes away depending on traffic.
West Lakeview Liquors on 2156 W. Addison is also good, but another 5-10 minutes away depending on traffic.

In what world is 2156 W. Addison only 30-35 minutes from O'Hare? Maybe at 3 am...
Fischman's in Jefferson Park is a gem. Last time I was there I picked up some Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout and a bottle Revolution Very Mad Cow (along with some others). It's been a month or two since I was last there though.
Only about 15 minutes from ORD too - http://www.fischmanliquors.com/
In terms of beers to get, what are you looking for? What beers are you typically a fan of?
I've been really enjoying the stuff that Pipeworks has been doing, particularly their Galaxy Unicorn DIPA. End of Days by them is also very good.

Wow. Great website - they have their inventory on there, that's awesome!
Thanks everyone for recommendations!

Anytime after 10a and before 3p?
Figuring he's coming from Milwaukee, the Tri-State to West Lakeview Liquors isn't that bad. Right now, probably a hour until 8P.

Did I hear that Pipeworks won a best new brewery award or something?
Dicarlo's in Libertyville has awesome beer selection

Yeah, their beers tend to be hop heavy (if you're into that)

I thought I drank their stuff one night after a show, do not recall any of it though.
I'll have to grab some on my next trip to WLL.

Was at WLL on Sunday - they have more or less everything Pipeworks is making (the home brewers who started Pipeworks met at WLL). If you like smooth, hoppy pale ales, I'd recommend Citra Nina, Unicorn Galaxy, and Ninja vs. Unicorn. Also had At Her Majesty's Pleasure by them on Sunday - very good, different, but still pretty good (I'm typically not a big English Pale fan).

We should set up a free trade zone on the border. :)

Right now, at 9:35 am in somewhat bad weather, Google says West Lake view Liquors is 21 minutes away from ORD if you take the Kennedy, and 42 minutes away if you take Irving Park.
Go ahead and trust Google. I take the Kennedy everyday. Theres no way.

Closer to O'Hare is a Binny's at Golf Road and Elmhurst Road in Des Plaines, southeast corner strip mall.
