Team clears malware threat from JSOnline
Quote
By Sharif Durhams of the Journal Sentinel
Some web browsers warned JSOnline visitors Thursday night that they were detecting malware on the site.
Our information technology team isolated the problem to one of the ads on the site and removed the ad late Thursday. They beleive that ended the threat.
The services used by a number of web browsers detected the update to the site some time overnight. Visitors to the site had stopped getting the warning in web browsers when we checked at 4:40 a.m.
Thanks to all of the readers who gave us a heads up and thanks for sticking with us.

Didn't ya practice safe web surfin'?
Lotta Flash Player script errors over the last month or two as well on the site. Not harmful - but pretty annoying to click out of everytime. Had to install a Flash debugger to be able to click out of the errors.
Must have been an ad for MarquetteHoops.com
