Vander had four "and 1s" (or an old fashion three point play) in the second half.
Is this a record for a half? A game? Do they keep such a stat?
No idea but if my memory is correct only one was on a jump shot. All that bodes well about VB's continuing growth in his ability to finish around the rim. Night and day compared to last year or even earlier this year.

If he can go at Deng like that (along the Gardner moves in the post) and get him in foul trouble like last year, we can definitely win Saturday.
I could have sworn that the refs messed up one of those plays. The play where Vander missed the first free throw and I think Gardner got the putback. No one on USF's team even tried for the rebound and then announcer mentioned that they must not have known it was only one shot because the layup went in.
Except I could have sworn the layup did not go in. My DVR wasn't working at the time so I could not verify. Anyone else see this?
It went in, there was a quick discussion on if the basket should have counted or if it was on the floor.
No it was a goaltending call, so the basket counted but technically didn't go in
Ah I see. I must have missed that. Thanks.
