Wisc. beats Minn. 45-44
Is a bat a rodent?
No. But, people tend to call them flying rodents!! ;D
I mean this in a polite way.
Who gives a F*** it's Madison. Did they break 50?
They did not break 50, and its nice that teams we beat do well afterwards. Makes MU look good to the selection committee. Also, not all MU fans hate Madison as much as some segments of our fandom.

I hate the arguement of "let's cheer for a rival to do well so it helps us out come march"
A rival is a rival, i will never cheer for them in anything. Marquette isn't in the CUSA, we don't need to cheer for out of conference opponents to try and help our cause. If we're in, it's becuase MU deserved it.
Not cheering just a team we beat and they beat a ranked team. Could make a difference in seeding for us come April.

No G*d D*mnit! You are NOT allowed!!!
Another ugly game. UW fans will chalk it up to great defense, and it was at times, but both teams were offensively challenged. Minnesota is overrated and has lost 4 in a row. Wisconsin is tough to beat in Madison.
Wisconsin will make the tournament, but the top 4 finishes will come to an end.
Did I hear that Minnesota at the end of the game had an injured player who couldn't shoot his free throws so uw-madison chose a player for them and he missed one of two? Funny that uw-madison won because of the "Marquette rule" that was put in a few years ago. Otherwise Minnesota could pick their own player to shoot.

Yup. And the player who was "injured" was Trevor Mbakwe

Is it early enough in the year for Trevor to redshirt? Can we possibly hope for next year to be year seven of the Mbakwe maelstrom?
