If we win the conference, I dont think we are a 1 seed. When has that last happened?

And... that should quiet the concern trolls about Georgetown, Villanova and the strength of the C7.  For now.

Georgetown in 2008 was a 2-seed after winning the league.

As far as a 1-seed...it depends. If we go 15-3 and win the league, probably not. If we're 16-2 or better, I think we have a shot. If we win both the league and tournament, I think we'd end up with a 1-seed.

Ummm, I could sure use some of the purple Kool-aid...I'm super happy about the way things are going but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Just take one game at a time and don't give any easy ones away. If we can just keep winning and getting better seeding and everything else will work out just fine.

Good wins today.  The death of Jay Wright and Villanova by many here was grossly exaggerated.

But not by you. You are always right!

Any chance to toot your own horn is a good one! Kinda reminds me of Tom Crean...

Didn't toot my own horn.  Found it funny how many people thought Wright was a bad coach and on his way out...big difference.

Again, good wins today, especially for some of the teams going to the new conference.  It's good to have Nova good, helps us all out.

Don't think there is any question that Villanova has underachieved the last three years.  These are obviously two big wins for them, but if Nova doesn't make the tournament, it will just raise more questions and frustration for Nova people.  All these wins do is keep Nova in the hunt.  They don't ensure anything for Wright or Villanova.  I do hope Villanova is good and I don't know how anyone could not have enjoyed watching their last Final 4 team play.  Think questions about Wright are still legitimate.

Pfft...I'm not on the team. Me looking ahead at the schedule isn't going to influence the team's play. And this isn't anything new for me, I've been saying this for awhile now. I picked us to go 13-5 preseason and figured we'd be second or third in the league. All I'm doing is saying we could finish 1-2 spots higher than my preseason prediction because we're ahead of where I thought we'd be.

And regardless...my posts won't change anything for better or worse.

Wow can't believe anyone would be concerned about Georgetown. We're more than fine. What a bunch of jokers.

And we could easily finish 11-7. Other then SF and Depaul at home we could lose any other game on our schedule.

Don't see us going 15-3 or 16-2 shooting 30% from 3.

I hope you're right but realistically we aren't winning the league.

If we go 2-0 this week I might have to reasess....... ;D
