I fear Providence will be a trap game. We should win it easily but I have a bad feeling.
The cause is either the game tomorrow or that Chinese I had for lunch.
Usually following a "trap game" will be a big game.
USF is more of a trap game if you figure Lou is the game after...
I don't understand how you can have a trap game when you're coming off a loss and haven't played in a week.

Yes, the bye week is more of a concern.
What are we...about 10 point favorites? Not for nothin' but there's no way we should lose this one, regardless.
I predict that MU comes out and completely dominates Providence defensively. The rotations are going to be nigh perfect. Offensively, crisper passes and cuts. I predict that Buzz has used this past week to get this team ready to take off down the stretch.
Thanks ... I will blame it on the Chinese

Buzz has had a week to prepare and won't let the team look ahead. The game that seems most dangerous in terms of "trap game" considerations is the game at South Florida. We play Louisville 3 days before on the road and often have stumbled down there. If we happen to beat them convincingly on Monday, it will make it only more likely that the team might overlook them the second time around.

Not even remotely a trap game. Failed on that.
And why should MU "win easily"? Nothing has been achieved to come close to thinking PC is an easy win. Failed on that.
I felt much more trepidation going into Green Bay game than this one (and, sadly, was proven right).
I think we might finally have an easy win. OK ... make that I hope we do!
Dude, you could make an argument that any game is a "trap game." How exactly is this a trap game? What constitutes a trap game? Please explain....
I really dont think the team is gonna be so lackadaisical to allow a game to slip away at home. We win tomorrow.
I typically don't call a game so far after the last game a trap game....7 days is a long time to make sure you are focused, refreshed, ready to go.

Agreed. There is not an easy win on the schedule.

That's what you get at a $5.99 lunch buffet.

It was $7.99 so I thought I was safe.
"trap game" is a narrative construction. Sports are not won or lost on the narrative writers construct.
This would be a trap game if MU was -4 to -5. Vegas knows best.

I went to a German-Chinese restaurant the other day. An hour after my meal I was hungry for power.
