Some great high school ball on the "U" today - Simeon vs Oak Hill in game 1 followed by #1 Montverde vs #2 Findlay Prep. Jabari Parker was all that in game one and some guy headed to S Carolina was very good for Oak Hill. Kendrick Nunn was solid but not great by any means. Jason Tate is a little like Cordell Henry but not nearly as good. Think he struggles at the next level. Game two featured all kinds of guys in the top 20 but the best player (by far) was a PG ranked #50 headed for Washington - Michael Goss-Williams. Totally schooled the top rated PG in the nation (think it was Craig or Chris Allen) and for the second year in a row beat #1 Montverde at the buzzer. Pretty clear from this one that high school basketball is a guard's game ;)

It's Nigel Williams-Goss vs. Michael Goss-Williams, but yes when he is on, he's very good. Talks a lot on the court (in mostly a good way) - is fun to watch. I haven't watched today's games yet... as for who he matched up against, was probably Kasey Hill from Montverde (where Jamail Jones went and starred with James Bell - who is at Nova). I recall being at a tourney in Denver a couple of years ago.. and that's when the word came out from Nigel.. that he was de-committing from UNLV. Now as you mentioned though.. headed for Washington. But, he's been a big name for years.
Hill's team got banned from NCAA certified events late last summer.. then they joined a diff team.. but, that team was in Orlando when I was watching games in Vegas... so haven't seen him live in a while.
I think there was actually a game before the ones you listed on ESPNU... where Aaron Gordon played. I think most 'sites' have him ranked #7 or #8 and I think that may be underrating him. He is excellent and next level (er, after college... i.e., NBA) legit.
Jaylon (vs Jason) Tate will probably take a year or two at Ill to get it figured out, but could turn out fine.

Thanks for the help on the names, Jay Bee. Kasey Hill's team had at least 3, maybe 4 guys ranked higher than Williams-Goss including Hill who at #9 might be the #1 PG. W-G schooled him, fouled him out and won the game at the end. If there are 49 better players than this kid in high school he must have played over his head tonight. Findlay also has a kid (Stanford Robinson) who is ranked #58 and going to IU. Didn't appear to anything special, at least in this game.
