whoa, nice haircut rubles...
Crazy to see that Marquette's "Keys to the Game" include "Win with The Bigs." Considering the roster the last five years, amazing that we have a forward-oriented offense (at least per ESPN).
whats with the extended end zone camera look?
So the guy that never had started a game in his career hits his first two wide open threes.
Just getting destroyed/spanked on offensive boards.
"student section cam" worst idea ever. makes it worse watching all those cinci offensive rebounds
Horrible start once again. This starting 5 never finds an offensive rhythm. Anderson with two dumb 3's (he's not a 3 point shooter and shouldn't be taking those). Hopefully we'll find some offense with the subs.
Otule is not much of an asset on the boards.
This is our starting 5
Come on Ox, Can't take a foul out there.
Why do we insist on jacking up 3's? Were 0-4 at this point and non have been close. One field goal in the first 6 minutes.
Memo to Mowins. #4 is Mayo. #13 is Blue.

Buzz better read these guys the riot act at half. No life in them at all.
This is awful. We're lucky Cincy hasn't been good either or this would be done already.
Pretty ugly so far.
Not worried. Both teams have struggles.
Still predict MU win. This team has character.

Cincy is content with jacking up 3s, they havent hit many, keep attacking the paint for MU
STaylor already more productive than Otule, our rebounding is bad. Their arena looks much more alive than the BMO!
Need to light a match under their collective asses.
Just getting owned on the glass.
Anyone want to get a defensive rebound? And how is that offensive when Guyn is sliding yet Cadougan camped under the hoop for 2 weeks and got the blocking?
this is annoying me... not rebounding or shooting mediocre, let alone well.
Too f*ckin' slow to the ball.
beyond ugly. cinci just running an offensive rebounding clinic out there
That needs to be a flagrant on 33.

Disgusting offensive display by MU.
Wow. So far this is a terrible showing. Disappointing.
Worst deficit in first half of any BIGE game this year.
This team is so soft and Lockett is a joke.
Ha, Buzz was right, with the way we are playing now we could have easily been 0-4. However, I think we figure it out second half and either win or make it close.
I can't see the game, but judging by these comments MU didn't come to play. Perhaps 4-0 got to their heads. It shouldn't this isn't a good team
I gotta turn this one off...hope they wake up in the 2nd half
Wow Lockett. He's always making athletic plays but somehow always f's them up.
Play a 2-2 zone and have Vander and Mayo dog Kilpatrick 24-7.
Locket will be key to our win tonight.
Get Otule out of there
Please cut it to 10 by half.
Do not bounce pass to Otule in traffic--it is never clean and rarely completed.

Worst half of the season so far? I've been watching MU since 87-88, and this is the most consistently bad offensive team I can remember for MU. They hustle and usually play good D and find ways to win, but they are horrific on the offensive end.
Just awful to watch. MU needs to get on the plane and go home, I never thought we should be ranked, and we lay
a huge turd on national TV..
13 points? What an absolute joke of a half. Dominated on the boards. Horrible from the line. Awful from 3. Foolish fouls. Just terrible, terrible play. Buzz will be ripping them a new one at the half. Just Awful.
My brother-in-law, who's a soccer nut but doesn't know jack about college hoops, came in halfway through the first half - his take: this has to be a hard team to root for.
Are people surprised at that output?
18% shooting (0-9 three), 1 assist, 5 turnovers, blocked 5 times. Our offense is usually inept, but this is a new low.

We've had some teams that struggled in the offensive sets, but at least they could score in transition pretty consistently. This team can't score at all.
I really hope we can mount a comeback in the 2nd half here, but it's going to be a tough with the hole we're in.
we seem to be getting worse...
Is 13 a record low?
Here's the stats:
5 for 28 from field 17%
0 for 9 from three
3 for 8 on fts.
25 to 17 outrebounded
Cincy has 5 blocks.
AND, Cincy not playing with best player.

The dude was already going off the whole game.
Lockett and Otule give us nothing, play someone else!
I know I'm piling on, but what does Lockett do to deserve all the time he gets. The only time I noticed him tonight was when I couldn't tell who made the bad play. He had bad fouls down the stretch, was fortunate Gardner caught bailed him out rebounding the ball off his mishandle with 30 secs left and then didn't rotate on the winning shot. He gets to the spot and then jumps out of the way. This is not just a bad game, it's a trend. He doesn't deserve all the time, particularly down the stretch
Season high for Kilpatrick with 36 points. 11 for 23 with 5 3 pointers.

Was Lockett the primary on him? Mayo the secondary?
Hope we draw these clowns at MSG.
Career night for two of their players, free throw shooting they'll never duplicate again, 13 point first half, referees lacking sense. This team isn't very skilled, but they are extremely mentally tough to be able to make a game of this.

Don't know , but neither of them played particularly well.

He gives you a lot in the rebounding end and is a Ball Hawk in that regard. Team is better with Locket than without IMHO.
Still cant believe that horrible call with 2 minutes left down one and Jamil Wilson Fouls out after touching nobody

Career high for Kilpatrick with 36 points. 11 for 23 with 5 3 pointers.
Fixed it for you

First time an MU player boxes out all night and he gets whistled for it. That was horrible.

Although they did play without 2nd best player so they can always use that against us.
I dont want to matchup in MSG with them. Team is really long and was giving interior fits with their shotblocking in first half
Is it time to start Gardener and bring Otuel off the bench? Otule isn't winning the tip off these days, and the offense struggles mightily with him in at the start of the games.
Not sure. Seems like Gardner likes his role.
Think that Otule wears down the opposing starting 5 man for Ox, maybe draws a foul on him, then Ox comes in for the kill. Think it's time for Jamil to start over Juan.
damn... road wins at Pitt and at Cincy would have looked mighty nice come march... oh well, 4-1 at this point is alright. just wish they'd found a way to close that out! i thought after mayo's 3 we were gonna roll like at Pitt...
Wow....When Davante went down hard on the floor, the official told Buzz "the ball knocked him down". Un F'n real.

Well it is a fact that a lot of 270lb men are easily felled by a 1lb basketball

That was truly a missed foul call.
Junior had a good shot at that layup at the end of ot, just didn't bank it enough. If that goes in I'm pretty sure we beat these guys in a second OT, they were running out of players.

Was it a makeup call for calling the phantom foul on Todd when the ref waited until after Kilpatrick's shot clanked to blow his whistle?

Mayo clearly fouled the elbow on that play. Not sure what you mean by the above.

Pretty weak call at that point in the game especially since they didn't blow the whistle when Blue twice got hit on the elbow shooting a 3.
Thx for getting me through Chicos!
Lost my stream tied at 2.9 secs in regulation with game tied.
At the end of the day, I've very please with MU being 4-1 at this point in the season. Looking at the next 5 games, MU should be at least 4-1 in those games too. This team should be looking at a minimum of 12 or 13 conference wins.

??---How is a phantom call on Todd (detremental to MU) a makeup call for truly a missed call when Davante was pushed to the ground (also detremental to MU)? Maybe I don't understand what a makep call is, but not sure what was 'made up' here.
