Cinci's coach says we have a winning tradition and unselfish play.

Funny that Cincy is concerned about us running against them. I think Cincinnati's pace is faster than ours. We actually have to stop them from running on us.
Strange that Cincy has had such trouble at home with the lengths Cronin went to last season and this to schedule a bakery full of cupcakes in the Shoe.
I don't rate Cincy highly. Didn't like their squad last year and nothing has changed. No team should have trouble scoring like they have over the course of 50 games. That's not a rut. That's just crap.
That said, I expect them to win today regardless of Wright's effectiveness. Not because of what they bring, though their defense can suffocate at times, but more because MU has been playing on the edge with some mediocre output. Today would be the day it comes home to roost.
I expected MU to win before wright was injured. I still think they win, but you never know how both teams respond to an injury. Do the other Cincy players step up and does MU take the game to lightly if wright does not play.
Do they still have that really tall dude who killed us last year?

Gates? He (somehow) graduated last year and is in Europe.

No, but they still have JaQuan Parker, who absolutely killed us last year.

I believe you are talking about Justin Jackson, and yes he is only a junior. Absolutely destroyed us last year with 7 blocks. I just remember him having some huge blocks off of the fast break and each block riled up the crowd and gave cinci too much momentum for us to handle that day.
