Happy that ESPN, at least its website, is using the AP poll so MU has that nice little 25 preceding its name, but any reason why it's not using the USA Today/ESPN poll, which they've used in year's past. After all, its name makes up half the name of the poll.
This was discussed briefly the other day...for some reason it's now just the USA Today poll, I'm pretty sure.
Yep... ESPN no longer has an affiliation with any D-I college polls (except their own, of course). Not entirely sure why that is, though.
Well, at least after ESPN's affiliation w/ the Coches Poll ended, they chose the right poll to use. The Coaches Poll is a joke. The AP poll is much quicker to react, and I generally think that the AP writer's care more about it than do a random selection of coaches.

Wow, didn't see that. That is interesting.
I've seen ESPN do this before in football too, when teams are ranked/unranked in the AP/Coaches and also I've seen them do it when a team has been ranked #1 in the AP and not the Coaches.
